▼ Name: "I am Alaska with no awkward cheesy middle names."
Alaska Beatrice Gray, named after the state where Marcus Gray and Nyx met for the first time. When the goddess left the baby alone with her father, he decided to name her that because of how he missed that place and their little jokes. Beatrice, or Bea just for short, was the name of Marcus's older sister who died when he was fifteen, and Gray has come down generation after generation and went to Alaska through her father.

Since Alaska was a baby, her father and her would go out into the cold snow to see the Northern Lights, or the Aurora Borealis. Borealis kind of sounded like Bear, and some of those big white giants would also appear somewhere on the icy land if the Grays walked far enough. Alaska loved everything and Marcus begun calling her that as a game, but it just stuck.

Seventeen years ago today a baby girl was born to the goddess Nyx, and now she is here, one year from becoming an adult.

Alaska is, and as far as she knows, will always be a female, a girl, woman, whatever you want to call it. Maybe she'll give you some clue that she wants to change - which won't happen, don't worry.
▼ Family: "Marcus, dad, is the only family I've ever known."
To be completely honest with the world and the rest demigods in the island, Alaska never thought of any of them as her family, not even the ones that are actually her half siblings. For her, Marcus Gray is her father, and the mother and brothers that she always dreamed of and never had.

Alaska comes from a long descendance of Scottish people and the first person to cut the tradition of being born and staying there for the rest of their lives to grow old and tell stories about the old Scotland was her father Marcus. He was certainly an extraordinary man, and wanted to know the rest of the world, something that none of his other five brothers had done before. But he was already engaged to a beautiful woman named Diana Fallenshay and there was no going back... before he escaped in a horse and traveled north before getting on a plane and going to America, specifically, to a place near Canada but belonging to the US: Alaska. Marcus fell in love with the landscapes and spend most of his days writing down stuff on the outside cold, no matter if it was snowing or if the sun was showing off its rays to the people. There, he met Nyx and they had a baby called Alaska. Marcus never knew that she was a goddess, or that his daughter was a demigod. It just happened - man abandoned with a new baby to take care of.

The first time she was attacked was when she was five years old, skipping through the forest singing loudly a song of mercy, happiness and stuff like that which was what her father taught her. The attack, two hellhounds, left her scared to death before she began to understand her powers and experiment with others. When she yelled "no" to the two creatures that leaped on her, they stopped and stayed in the forest until further instruction from the five-year-old. Similar things happened to Alaska while growing up and she never told her father. Once he was murdered when she was fourteen and Alaska had to begin her journey, getting rejected from Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter as well. Now she thanks Gaea for the island and stays there to grief her loss.

Liam Aiden Callahan was born the twenty six of December, in the year of 1998. His first three years of life were very normal before things began to get rough. And the problems didn't have to do with the toddler's god aura attracting mosters that could attack him when his mother, Cath, wasn't around. No, the thing was that Cath had been kicked out from the only apartment she could manage to have and pay the rent, apart from spending the money on her baby's needs. And the next five buildings where they could afford staying, something happened to all of them. Either a huge storm came, or the rain leaked through the roof and flooded everything, and the air was way too clean so nobody really trusted them. The weird part of it was that when Liam exited the new home, it all went back to normal. People began to talk - everybody in the same situations knew each other, so they all knew about the strange boy that could make it snow indoors. Cathleen denied the gossip but even herself doubted her own judgement. When Liam was ten years old, his mother went to seek luck in England. They ended in a small town called Coleford in Gloucestershire where everything was okay, or at least it was for two years. The same day Liam turned twelve years old, he was attacked. Out of pure panic, the boy, who already had trust issues and was scared of several things, killed the creatures sucking the air out of them. That scared the heck out of the twelve year old and refused to talk about what had happened with his mother, or anyone in reality. It happened twice again during that same year, and with his mother now remarried to this man called Ian Daniels and pregnant, waiting for twins, Liam ran away at the eve of his thirteenth birthday. Thirteen years old, terrified and alone, without money and walking through the streets of London wasn't a very good idea. When the monsters found him again, he was suddenly transported to a strange place which seemed to be America. Liam had been taught about it at school back in Coleford. That was the moment when he met his father for the first time. Ouranos was a terrifying man and Liam had a headache for two weeks after their short talk. Ouranos revealed that Liam was a "demigod", half human and half god, from his part. That was enough to leave everyone with their heads pounding. Three years later, Liam was still roaming around the world. He had been denied the entry to both Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter when he found himself in the island with the other demigods. And now? That's about to be seen.

Violet's life has always been plagued by monsters. Even when others - normal demigods - could go through the first years of their life without any monster activity, she could not. Her mother, luckily, had gifted her with a sword at birth. A sword that even a mortal could use to fight off monsters until Vi was old enough to defend herself. Once Vi turned five she started using her poison powers to keep them away but despite how easy getting rid of monsters was getting for her sometime she couldn't even go to school because of their overabundance. When she turned ten, her dad had grown tired of this sort of lifestyle and banished her from his homestead. Vi, scared and alone, was sought out by a huntress of Artemis who took her in as a "pre-huntress." But, this didn't last for long - only a few short months later Vi was abducted.

It makes a lot of sense why Gaea chose Brad to live on the island. His past shows the life of someone who just doesn't care. His mother - seeing the darkness that was carried on from his father - even when he was very young, kept him at an arm's length. Brad never sought social consolation... or even a social life. He just wanted to be... alone. He could tell that something was obviously wrong with himself as he went on. Every other child emoted. Smiled. Cried. But not Brad. But, he just didn't care. When he turned fifteen his powers accidentally killed someone. Knowing this was not going to end well - despite not feeling one ounce of guilt, he fled the town. Only to wake up the next morning to the island.

Beck is quite the fiery young man. Cheeky, rude, and loves to crack jokes...usually at someone's expense. Of course, he doesn't always intend to make someone angry-he just want's to make people laugh. If he's ticked off, he's going to jump and yell and act much bigger than his rather short 5'4". Commenting on his height will definitely make him throw a fit. He's not a genius, per say, but he's quite an intelligent young man. Not great with numbers and the like, but he can think on his feet, keeping his cool (for once) in intense situations. He's competitive to a fault, he'll do practically anything to be in the top 10, let alone a gold medal. He's tried his hand at many of the Ancient Greek sports, from sword fighting to discus. However, the only thing he's really good at is archery.

As an ambivert, Reinette has two distinct personalities she tends to switch into almost arbitrarily. One being that of the extrovert: a joker who enjoys taking part in pranks, a master at generating witticisms and sarcastic remarks. She tends to be quick-witted and argumentative. She can be charming, abrasive, or persuasive depending on her choice of words and behavior.
The other side of her is that of the introvert. In this side, Reinette can be difficult to read. She may seem grumpy or maybe calm, but know that the wheels in her head are always turning. She puts her energy towards a more intellectual approach in this state. She is curious and investigative, always needing to learn or figure something out.
She has nearly perfected her use of possessing people, though she still hates to do it. She prefers gentle persuasion over fully taking over the body, like a daughter of Athena, choosing intelligence over strength. Reinette whispers in her target's mind, painting a different scenario in the monster's mind with her voice.
She is good at sword fighting and archery, but not great at either. She carries a short sword for defense if needed.

ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ
Connor is a quiet and distant, if not unsocial, person. He isn't good with interacting and starting up a conversation. You have to approach him first to even start to talk to him. He rarely talks to people unless it is to offer help, asking for help, or for an occasional sarcastic remark. Connor feels as if he would be burdening someone if he tried to interact with them any time other than necessary, and his 'people skills' are 'rusty'.
However, if you do get him to talk, you will find that even though he is insecure and soft spoken, Connor has quite the sense of humor, though it tends to be a little sarcastic and if not a tad rude. Still he tries to be a complete gentleman to everyone and maintains a cheerful and overall nice demeanor, just a quite one. He doesn't like to show his feelings to others. He is not fast to warm up to anyone, but once he does he will protect you with all that he has.
He is often hasty, lightheaded, and impulsive. He is also known to lose his temper, and let his frustration get the better of him. Connor is stubborn and willful about his personal opinions, even when things looked hopeless and everyone disagrees with him. Once he set himself upon a course he would see it through till the end, and would allow nothing to stop him.
In a fight, Connor relies heavily on the Death Mist. His father abandoned him early in life so he had to learn to control the mist to shield him from unwanted eyes. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Connor is a skilled swordsman but he is best at throwing knives or stars. Ahklys gifted him with a set of five throwing knives that after leaving his hand, will return to him somewhere on him after a few moments.
