Partly because the vote is overwhelmingly in favor of one choice, also because I won't be around when the 24-hour mark hits. That being said, Preston High School is a 4-day-a-week high school, with 8 class periods a day with a 40-minute lunch. Each student gets a certain schedule, with their lunch picked at random. Imagine this as your time schedule:
8:15 a.m. - 9:05 a.m., 1st (Football/Cheerleading)
9:10 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., 2nd
10:05 a.m. - 10:55 a.m., 3rd
11:00 a.m. - 11:50 a.m., 4th
11:55 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., 5th
12:50 p.m. - 1:40 p.m., 6th
1:45 p.m. - 2:35 p.m., 7th
2:40 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., 8th (Football/Cheerleading)
However, 6 of said class periods will be taken up by:
Football/Cheerleading for both 1st and 8th period
Math (once between 2nd and 7th period)
English (once between 2nd and 7th period)
Science (once between 2nd and 7th period)
History (juniors) and Government/Economics (seniors) (once between 2nd and 7th period)
You may choose two additional classes as your electives, such as art, speech, music, computer, drama, etc. to fill in your schedule.
Being an aide (office, principal's, counselor's, nurse's, teacher's, etc.) is ONLY available to seniors for one class period, however.
One last thing: DO NOT MAKE LUNCH ONE OF YOUR ELECTIVE CLASSES!!!! I will tell you when your lunch will be AFTER everyone makes their schedule. The determining factor will be who joins what classes and when.
Feeling EXTREMELY salty right now.
