Wynne is what you could describe as a geek, or a bookworm, rather. Her vast love for books, and social anxiety causes her to avoid social situations. She's awkward, shy, and often chooses flight rather than fight. Her simple, seemingly 'boring' life is all she feels she ever needs. She's happy with who she is, and won't allow anyone to tell her otherwise, no matter the circumstance. She's a problem solver, and refuses to let something beat her, wether living, or non living. This gal, overall, is the definition of simple living, and thats just the way she likes it.
Sherlock - brother
Wynne is deadly loyal to her family, often valuing her brother's opinion over anyone elses, and looking up to him in any situation in which she needs guidance. She'll do everything in her power to keep him happy, and anything remotely possible to keep it that way.
Monica - best friend
Wynne can be hard to befriend, seeing as how cautious she is, and with her social-anxiety and all. Her best friend, Monica, has been her friend for as long as she can remember, and she trusts her without a doubt. She looks up to her almost as often as she does with her brother. Like monica, wynne is usually really shy, and both gals get together great.
It's nearly impossible to keep wynne around others for long, and before you can say, 'Hey!' she's already withdrawn from the group and sheltered in a secluded corner, and tucked into a book. She reads alot, keeping the saying 'books can take you anywhere' quota whenever someone tries to tell her there is better things to do with her time. "I don't read because I have to. I read because I wan't to" She often says when people ask her why she reads so much. As cheesily romantic as it is, her favorite book is "romeo and juliet" And when confronted about how old, or how boring it is, she quotes romeo directly 'She hath, and in that sparing makes huge waste,For beauty starved with her severity.Cuts beauty off from all posterity.She is too fair, too wise, wisely too fair, To merit bliss by making me despair: She hath forsworn to love, and in that vow Do I live dead that live to tell it now. and watches as they look on with astonishment. "romeo is a helpless romantic, selfishness led them both to death, however without learning from our mistakes, where would we be now?
Other than reading, wynne is obsessed with classical music. The slow, yet precise flowing music calls to her like a moth to a flame, and she won't go even a whole day without listening to it. Her favorite? That would have to be "Samuel barber's 'Adagio For Strings'" She enjoys the saddening, slow, strung out notes of the string instruments as they convey an aire of depression, and oppression of the mind.
When people wynne loves, or even remotely knows are unhappy, it physically hurts her. She hates it when people are sad, and literally destroys herself when she's the cause. With all the unhappiness in the world, she keeps her friends, and family happy, then avoids the negative emotions of others. "It hurts, but Iv'e come to realize... I can't help them all. And it's horrible that the world has come to the point in which everyone is so unhappy, but, I can't save them all from the emotions devouring them. They'll need to figure out how to save themselves" she once said, tears brimming her eyes, as her brother asked why she kept trying to help everyone she came across.
Wynne is also amused by gravity. Not just the ideas of the prospect, but in it's entirety. "What goes up, must come down". She often drops things to the ground and watches them fall, intrigued why all things, despite weight, fall at the same speed when wind or surface area are the same. "I can see myself in gravity, if that makes sense... It's never really thought of, or sought out, just simply always there, wether everyone realizes it or not. And when they need me, I'll be there.
When in social situations, wynne tends to get really nervous, and is at a constant blush. She can't stand it when her cheeks are tinged pink, and they get even worse if someone calls her out on it. When spoken to directly by anyone other than monica or her brother, she begins to stutter, and her social-anxiety kicks into overdrive, usually causing her to get light-headed, and run the other direction. pretty much the only way to get through her shell is to be persistent, and not to be driven away by her outward mistrust.
Although she's usually busy, she sometimes writes as a vent. Seeing as she tends to avoid social situations, she doesn't really have any chance to expel her emotions to anyone, and they often get bottled up, and overrun her. Everything from extreme happiness, to her dullest moments usually end up being written sooner or later. She writes all of her vents in her mint green journal, which can be found in one of the drawings below. She doesn't lock it, feeling that if someone goes through as much effort to find the thing, they might as well know a little about her problems as well. Not that she doesn't keep it pretty well hidden in her treehou- "Come on! don't spill all my secrets! J-Jeesh"
Although wynne is often seen wearing her headphones, she also loves cold weather, and prefers to wear scarves most of the year. Her favorite is a light grey scarf with a mint green stripe type pattern along the length of it. She uses the scarves to hid her blush sometimes, when it gets to annoying her, or if she finds a reason to hide it at all. Some people give her weird looks as she walks by wearing a scarf in the spring, but she could care less.
