Grace is a veterinarian and permanent resident of the lab. So she gets some liberties, her whole lab used for testing is divided into the four sections, her office and a thin section for testing if she needs it.
I don't think the others would have animals, Grace would just keep them in her lab...

Most of them have already been experimented on, so Sophia's just keeping them there to study them. They're not actually normal animals.

I think Alisa's opinions on the domestic hybrids and TANDEM are totally off. She's pretty forgiving and okay with the domestics who actually choose to be domestics (at least some of them do), while the cyborgs who can't really help it and are just doing as they're programmed to do, she hates.

Alisa feels that the domestics who choose can be persuaded. Also they won't hurt you if you fallow quietly
But TENDEM is sent after hybrids who try to break out or need to be punished.
She's been there a long time, chances are they have unknowingly been fallowing orders and killed some of her friends. She's a very maternal character and looks out for all her friends, even after they are gone or leave her. So she dislikes them out of fear they will kill her friends

The domestics who choose are still sentient in her mind. They can be persuaded not to harm someone. T1 & T2 often can't.
