About Vampires
The number one thing to know about vampires is that they are indeed immortal.
Vampires must feed blood to survive. They may survive on animal blood, but it
won't make them nearly as strong/fast, or as satisfied as human blood. Most think
that if you are bitten by a vampire, then you automatically become one. However,
vampires have control over their victims fate. They can either take a few pints and
leave their victim alive (but lightheaded), completely drain their victim and kill
them, or voluntarily inject venom to turn them. Vampires can go out in sunlight, and
no they do not sparkle or burn, though the bright light may irritate them slightly.
Vampires have heightened senses, and are typically faster than werewolves.

About Werewolves
Werewolves, often called lycans or lycanthropes, are able to transform into a full
wolf at any given time, though they do control their transformations. They live in
a pack, usually being led by an Alpha. Werewolves are stronger than vampires.
When a wolf bites a vampire, it is not deadly, though it won't heal nearly as fast,
and it will leave a scar (the same goes for if a vampire bites a wolf). Like vamps,
werewolves have heightened senses. Werewolves are not immortal, but they do
age very, very slowly (a wolf may appear 18 for a good 10 years before any change
is seen in their appearance) , and they tend to live 150-175 years.

Shakira has been the smart one, she knows where to go and what to do but don't push her too far or she might crack. Being a fiery young-ish vampire she has the energy of a 6 year old and the imagination as well but she also has a pretty nasty temper that is quickly sparked if things don't go her way or get stuffed up. Shakira loves to help others and is quite selfless in the act of volunteering to help others out etc. Shakira is quite prejudice and judgmental and is harsh with her statements and explaining to people whom she doesn't like about different topics or telling them what to do. This is normal and many people get used to her judgmental and harsh side but newbies are quite intimidated by the fact she has a temper and is quite snappy which is a downside. Despite being judgmental and rather unwelcoming she is quite nice and friendly on the inside and is extremely humorous, cracking jokes in the toughest of situations to light up the atmosphere.

Being funny has its limits and sometimes she does cross the line with her jokes but either than that she is a funny one. Shakira lived with her family consisting of herself and two younger brothers plus her mother and father. Sadly her Mother went rather mad after the war and sadly killed herself by walking into a pack of werewolves (not the nicest way to die but anyhow...) Shakira's father was devastated but was never fond of his female child who was a vampire and therefore took away Shakira's brothers and fled from her. Shakira was torn and this reflected on her personality which is the harshness, and judgmental side of her. Shakira had been determined ever since they left her to find them and take them back and this determination was another trait for the young-ish vampire. Shakira wasn't really the one for falling in love but she did used to have this one crush when she was young and human but he died shortly after she was turned.

Beau has charm and a way with words and likes to use people. He doesn't really have many "true" friends, as most of the people who know him are scorn from whatever Beau used them for. Beau can often be seen walking alone, head held high; this is due to his very independent and headstrong nature. On the flip side, Beau rarely trusts others or lets them in. He is rather cocky, over-confident & full of himself. Beau has also been known as quite the ladies' man in the past. His humor is quick, sarcastic & often hurtful. Hello, my name is Heather and I have been a vampire for 135 years. I was originally born in 1861, on August 3rd. My
parents loved me very much, but when I turned 16 I ran away with a boy, who claimed that he loved me. He had dreams of
settling down and having children, which at sixteen did not sound like a very good idea. Eventually I found out why though.
He was a wolf-boy. He wanted to make more, with me. I left as soon as I found out, but their secret was out and I had to
keep running. For almost two years. Just running. From place to place, and as soon as they arrived, more running. I ran
until I found the girls. Wilma was very understanding of my situation and she turned me. When the wolves found me, they
didn't know that I had been turned and that was my advantage. I attacked them and although none of them died, they
haven't bothered me since. I owed Wilma my life. She is an amazing leader and I was happy to be in her small clan. Over the
years, we have grown together. And brought in many others. Jo being the newest. It is honestly one of my favorite things
that I have been apart of.
