Let's start introducing some discussion questions, shall we?

What are your theories on how the disease came to be and why doesn't it affect younger people?

Do you have any ships so far? If so, why?

I personally ship Kellin and Alfie. I know they haven't interacted, but I think they have compatible personalities. Maybe not, though, we'll just have to find out.

I also ship Bellamy with both Laurel and Horizon. I don't prefer one over the other really, I guess I'll just see where the whole thing goes.

The disease could've easily came to be as a genetic weapon type deal, it was untested, but it was supposed to be used as a weapon against enemies of the U.S.,(it was SUPPOSED to decommission older people, so children stayed fine) next thing you know, some in development liquid form of the disease drops in some lab, some dad- scientist picks it up, eats his children soon after, he goes to trial spreads the disease, Bam. You have an epidemic, though the closest idea about why it only affects younger people, is that it targets people who have been through puberty longer, eh...

maybe there was a criminal mastermind and he made the disease himself. he could have put it in his target's coffee or something and also put a chip in his brain so he could control where he went. he also made it so it spread easily, but there was a defect, so the kids weren't harmed. he made his target go to maybe washington dc or something to start the epidemic, because he wanted his message to be to a lot of people. before he can control it, everyone has the disease (except the young ones) and it totally backfires. bam, epidemic.

and i totally ship dakota and elizabeth. i think they would be adorable together!

I'm almost positive everyones in the basement.
Can't believe Horizon is shipped with someone already, wow. I personally don't have any ships yet. As for how the disease came, I think it might have mutated from another disease, perhaps.

Personality: Stubborn and easily frustrated, Lyssa was often described as the stereotypical teenager back when things were normal. Not that she'd ever agree with that of course, the pink haired teen was always fighting with her parents over the smallest trivial matters. She'd call it fighting for what she believes in; her parents called it being a pain in the backside. Under the facade of being tough and strong, Lyssa is actually a bit naive, struggling to comprehend the seriousness of situations, meaning that she often gets into trouble. Despite her flaws, she's still caring, and kind towards the people she calls friends.
Likes: Bright colours, art, and fictional stories which can drown out reality.
Dislikes: The dark, blood and gore.
Strengths: Lyssa has the ability to rally people as she is determined, and doesn't back down for anyone or anything. She also has the ability to cook decent food without burning it, and can occasionally fight when feeling threatened.
Weaknesses: Sadly, Lyssa struggles to comprehend danger which can make her a little reckless, and she's always falling over, meaning she's constantly covered in cuts and bruises.

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. I've been busy with school, as exams are coming up. I've also been helping take care around the house and taking care of our new puppy (Lexi) and my lip cause I got it pierced. Anyway. What's going to happen now as it seems like a LOT has happened.

It's okay, I understand with the whole school thing. I've been so busy it's really hard to keep up.
Anyway, I think from where you left off, Ex left a picture of himself decapitating Horizon, and then he pretended to be a normal guy. He's diseased, but he doesn't have physical symptoms, and he's much smarter. A new character, Lyssa, arrived at the house and has just been let in by Bellamy. (Oh, btw, Bellamy hid the drawing in his pocket. He doesn't want Horizon to see it.)
