Oh, you know there would be positivity from Opal xD All the little adjustments she would make though, I can just imagine Opal fussing over Amara and trying to make every little detail match just right (and surprising her with Amos at the end, so all the blushing can happen lol)

I find it a lot easier to play complacent/shy roles than outgoing, mean or crafty ones, if that really helps? Like for Mel, a lot of her motivations are ones I don't personally understand or feel often, so writing for her is more of a strain than writing for Opal or Lilith. I guess that's about it, I try to work on a wide range of personalities, though I know I haven't covered nearly everything (or even branched out that much with my current cast, I know there are a few.. duplicates)

Wolf actually reminded me though, I sent a pm to spiff a week ago (I think it was around then, maybe a little further back) about what's been going on in the rp and some plans moving forward, before the subject of the human rp came up. I've told them that, if they haven't returned to play Kade after the packs return from the festival, I'll be making an interim alpha for the shores pack to take care of alpha duties until they decide to come back. I wasn't really sure where to fit this all in, and it seemed appropriate to tack on with the mention of new characters, as I've already started brainstorming what the interim alpha should be like - if spiff does come back after my alpha has already been put into play, my character will 'step down' to the position of senior delta, and it will be as though Kade were in power the entire time. Is that agreeable to everyone?

I definitely relate to what you're saying Mirage, the shy/reserved characters are the ones that come to me most easily, where Beau is more of a challenge. I just find myself occasionally surprised when I realize I only have one female character because usually females are easier for me to play...it's odd, but not bad

The Shores Alpha/Spiff situation sounds good to me, I think it's a good compromise

This is probably also a good time to address where we'll have the human rp - it seems we're all either for the move to Advanced Scribes or neutral/open to wherever, so I think the next step would just be a discussion about what we're all comfortable with, because the situation over there is basically just setting your own rules and following literacy requirements.
For myself, I've always been open to all sorts of things and there's usually not much that I won't touch. My only request would be that I don't have to read any heavy gore - of course general wounds and blood are okay and I've been fine with everything we've done in DWS so far, but I just can't specifically handle detailed stuff about ligaments, tendons, sometimes veins, etc. I would be okay with these things being briefly mentioned as long as there isn't detail. Musculature is totally fine, like describing how a body moves or strains. It's really just the tendons and ligaments or wrist/ankle regions that get to me.
I think that's really it for me, pretty simple. Of course things fluctuate and if I ever feel that I need to add another limit I will say so, and trust that you all would let me know if I ever overstepped your comfort zone.

So I guess you guys can just chime in with your own side of things and we'll make sure everyone is on the same page

That's a good point to bring up Wolf, I'm glad you already have some experience over there and can help us make the transition

For me personally, I don't have much that I'm completely uncomfortable with except for drug trips - just drugs in general make me anxious, and anything in depth about characters who partake is what I'd ask people to refrain from posting. I'm okay if your character mentions that they use, or makes mention of doing something in the past, but if you'd keep from going into detail of what it's actually like, I'd really appreciate it <3

Also on the subject, if at any point during the rp anyone feels uncomfortable, let us know. Or just let me know, and I'll bring it up to everyone; the last thing I want is for anyone to feel anxious or uncomfortable about the rp.

I think I've always been better at playing males or boys, even from when I was little and my friend and I would play with our stuffed animals together and make up stories and act them out with them. As far as the personalities that go with them it's always been more charming, independent characters that I've been the most adept at creating and maintaining/staying true to their characters. It wasn't until Kirsten that I even ever really had a female character that I spent any real time focusing on, and even then she would still be gone from being available to RP with for lots of time whenever she would go on her little adventures into the forest on her own.

I don't think that I have any limitations or sensitive areas in regards to the RP. But that doesn't mean that I wont fully take into consideration and adhere anyone elses reservations. And if I think of or become aware of any areas that I'm uncomfortable with, then I'll be sure to speak up pretty quickly about it

Edit: Generally speaking, what age group are the characters supposed to be in? Like what's the setup for the school, college right?

Goldie, I believe the school is going to be a boarding school that does a wide range of ages up to about 25 but also lower into high school ages. In my case, Amara will be 18 but Ab will be more like 24

Wolf is right in the age planning, my youngest character at the school (Elia) would be around 15. But if you have any better suggestions for how we can make the ages work then let me know I understand the concept of a high school-college age boarding school is a bit of a stretch, I was just trying to find a way to incorporate all the character age ranges we currently have

The only thing that comes to mind for me at the moment would be for detailed descriptions of the actions of self-harm or chicken death. (I'm sorry the last one sounds silly) It's fine to reference it, say it happened, etc, or even give a very brief description, but I'd love that both of those things could be far from elaborate. (Mirage, just so you know, you've done nothing that has bothered me re: Elia's chickens)

Mirage, do you know how the wolves' ages might translate into their people's?

I think the farthest I would go with Elia's chickens would be saying that one was butchered, or something along those lines. I can keep everything fully off-screen (so to speak).

I know personally what ages I feel my own wolves would translate to, with 2 and under being in teens, 2-3 being early 20's, and 3-4 being mid twenties. I can put my own characters human and wolf ages if everyone would like, and they can base their own off of mine? Or we can all figure them out separately, whatever works for you guys

On a separate subject, I just finished my paper which means I'm allowed to show everyone the sketches I made for my characters... be prepared for a huge load of anime sketch busts

Okay basically I'm still full-fledged obsessed with Lia, but also still very curious about Delano, I just always want to see more of him

Will there by uniforms for the school I feel like it could help a lot with not always having to really spend too much time talking about outfits unless they're in casual dress occasionally
