"I suppose you're here to get my life story, hmm? Well, it's nothing special, really. But if you insist, you might as well take a seat."
"My name's Mothwing, and I was born to CascadeClan some time ago, and I was one of six. Not the runt of the litter, but not the biggest either. I was given the name Mothkit, for my plain pelt (compared to my mother, a beautiful silver tabby and my father, a smokey grey tom with vibrant green eyes), as well as for the fact I made very little noise. I did not mew and wriggle about like my brothers and sisters, instead preferred to sleep in the corner of the den alone, except when my littermate Moonkit would join him, so that they could keep one another warm. Though she would never admit it, our mother, Halftail was worried for her two smaller sons. They did not have as much life as Tigerkit or Badgerkit. Were they ill? Was StarClan going to take her kittens away from her? Only time would tell."
"When I became Mothpaw, I was assigned to Buzzardclaw, a strong, surly tom whom was known for his bravery and strength. It was hoped that Buzzardclaw's outgoing personality would help me become less quiet and a bit more open to others, but it never seemed to work. I never argued with Buzzardclaw, rarely complained and did what I was told then and there. Not that it was of concern to Buzzardclaw; his apprentice excelled in his craft, just didn't show it. I was very much an underdog, it seems. Weak and frail to the eye, but a true warrior when it came to battle. Though he wouldn't admit it, Buzzardclaw found his little apprentice rather entertaining."
"Some time passed, and with this, so did my sibling, Moonpaw. He was attacked by a fox, simple as that. I was devastated, as were the rest of my family members, but it hit me the hardest. I grieved for quite some time, to the point where I was held back from my warrior status for two moons, since the leader felt that I wasn't ready to join the ranks of the warriors in such a state. But I eventually joined my brothers and sisters, and became Mothwing."
"As I got older, more time passed, and so did more cats. Both of my parents passed away, thanks to the demon cats. And last night, they killed off the rest of my siblings. I am the only one left of my line, which is a scary thought."
"I will get revenge on those cats. Just you wait."

"Mottledfrost. I'm Mottledfrost. I'm a born and bred CascadeClan cat, my parents the same before me, as well as their parents. So, I guess you could say I'm one of those 'pure' CascadeClan cats. Never really cared for the title, but hey, if others like me more for it, I guess I can't complain. There's nothing really exciting to my birth. I was born with a brother, but he died during kitting, and my mother was devastated, though was grateful that I was alive. She called me Mottledkit for my fur, and I must say, I do quite like it. I grew up like a normal kit, really. Nothing exciting there."
"My apprenticeship was rather dull, honestly. Being Mottledpaw was one of the most boring and tedious experiences of my life. My mentor, Honeyfur and I got along relatively well... It's just that she was dull. It was like she'd gotten all of her life sucked out of her. She wasn't even strict or tried to discipline me. It was just get up, train a little, then leave me to do whatever I wanted. I could cause trouble and get away with it if I honestly wanted to. And looking back on it now... It's almost a shame. There was absolutely no incentive to misbehave, or even behave for that matter, and there was no reward for training as hard as I possibly could. More often than not I'd sneak off with someone else's mentor, and train with them. None of them seemed to mind. In fact, it was almost like they understood."
"I became a warrior at the age of thirteen moons, due to the fact Honeyfur didn't think I was ready to become a warrior. Which I thought was incredibly unfair, since half the time, she didn't even teach me. But I knew better than complaining, and merely continued training until my warrior assessment, which I passed with ease. So then, like all apprentices do, I got my warrior name, which turned out to be Mottledfrost. Eggstar said it was because of my "seemingly unnatural nature" or something like that. I don't really care, because I think it sounds nice."
"Anyway, my time as a warrior was a little bit more eventful compared to my apprenticeship. I made a few friends and got into a bit of trouble on the way. The most notable pickle I've gotten into was when I accidentally came across a badger's den in new-leaf. An angry mum and an angry dad found me sniffing around outside their den, and oh boy, was that a sight to see. This was where my allegiance changed... to those of the demonic kind."
"See, upon realisation that I was on the brink of getting killed, my patrol abandoned me. They turned tail and ran, like the true cowards they are, and they didn't even look back. I was devastated, and incredibly angry. But then, something stopped the badger. He just got up, and ran. I don't remember much after that, aside from the voice of a cat... I can't remember their name. They told me things about the CascadeClan warriors... Now I know what I have to do."
"I need to get revenge on my past life. I can feel it in my mind, whispering sweet nothings to me as I stare down upon the scrawny kits that were once my clanmates."
"After all, I want to see the looks of horror on their face when they see the dead walking."
