"cleo marley laurel; a unique name for a unique girl. born literally upside down, she was loved to death by both of her parents. until one day, for no particular reason, her dad upped sticks and left. to earn a living, her mother wrote and wrote books. eventually, a series was published and consequently she became a famous author. often away at signings and things, cleo took up all sorts of activities to keep herself busy. some included cosmetology, art club, knitting club, learning foreign languages, various sports, and most importantly, enrolled herself in her school's vocal academy. she was a natural at singing; her only issue being her anxiety. it wasn't so much being around people; she was actually quite sociable. yet, at random times, cleo would get panic attacks, most often in public. hyperventilation seized her lungs, tears streamed down her face, and more often than not she passed out. in an attempt to rid herself, or minimize the effects of the panic attacks, she started singing in public, and it helped immensely. she now often sings at coffeehouses or local gigs, earning a decent amount of money by also working as a student aide at a social anxiety club, helping peers who are going through similar experiences that cleo had overcome. all around, cleo is a sweetheart; sometimes, you just want to pinch her cheeks because she's so excitable. yet, sometimes you may want to punch her in the face, because she can be impatient, and no matter how much it hurts, brutally honest. she's adventurous, temperamental, and overall headstrong. cleo has her bad days, but she can usually be cheered up if someone tickles her or by cuddles."
