sorry quick question, are we allowed to play black wolves?

there aren't really black wolves in the pack, as almost all black pups that are born in the pack were given to the ravens. the elder ravens will secretly "train" the pup and once that pup has reached juvenile age, they will lead them through the bare forest far away, so they can start new lives.

so i would appreciate that you would not play/create a black wolf, but in the 'other' post on the first page, there was a pup-mother who refused to giver up her black pup, and now the landscape is gloomy and dark as far as the eye can see. both the pup mother and "refused pup" are taken. but if you character is dark-furred or has a dark-furred mate, they are most likely to have a black pup, so yes you can roleplay the black pup when the ravens are "training" it. please remember that each mother may only have three offspring, and you may only roleplay one, if no one wants to role-play the rest, thy can be stillborn (etc.) or just have no other offspring.

You put my character, Vitani, who is a white wolf, on the Alpha female position ;P I don't mind making her black if you want me to play that part, but she was originally beta female because I didn't want to take up all of the higher positions since I feel that would be unfair to other players, because Ajax - my character - is already chief in command of the Unkindness. Plus, I'm already playing the pup-mother who refused to give up the black pup. Don't worry though, everyone makes mistakes every once in a while, I'm just a tad confused ;P Can't wait to start!

Vancouver is an absent-minded, Four-Year-Old Collared Crow. She's rather timid (and paranoid) by nature, which doesn't seem to mix well with being a scout, being forced to step out of her in order to speak with the wolves. This isn't to say she doesn't like doing her job, however, for Vancouver loves scouting and the sense of freedom and satisfaction it brings.

This Collared Crow is seen to be quite stubborn and short-tempered. She does not like being told what to do either, and out of defiance may occasionally choose to disobey orders. Despite this, Vancouver is loyal to her flock and will do everything in her power to protect them. She's most protective of those she's emotionally attached to, and will risk her life for them.
Vancouver has very strong opinions of the world around her, making her inwardly aggressive and argumentative. On the rare occasion that this Corvid does choose to voice those opinions, a whole "new" side of her is displayed, often surprising and/or startling others with her unexpected, passionate and more often than not aggressive, outbursts.
Someday, she hopes to find a mate, be it male or female, with whom she can form a strong, life-long bond.
