Alpha IS Sapphire. The other one is Omega Ruby. I haven't decided yet, I kinda want both right now. I'm still thinking about it, I guess.

NOW I HAVE THE NEED TO START OVER. FOR TOTODILE.

Ugh Totodile has always been and will always be my favourite starter. Sableye is my ultimate favourite 'mon, despite, but Totodile will always have a special place in my heart (as my first version played was...Gold, I think?)
Question for y'all. What is your favourite Pokemon of each type [dual-types included, I guess]? (and starters)?
Mine are always chosen by my past teams. Not because they were ever great, not because of how they look, but because I've just fallen for them when I caught them, or (in some cases) a friend gave one to me. Soo...'ere they are(think I forgot a type...):
Starter: Totodile
Fire: Talonflame
Water: Feraligatr
Grass: Whimsicott
Electric: [Please don't kill me] Pikachu
Dark: Sableye
Fairy: Eeh...(I hate Fairy Types.)
Dragon: Axew/Haxorus
Ground: Flygon
Rock: Onix
Ice: Glaceon
Ghost: Gengar
Steel: Lucario
Bug: Volcarona
Fighting: Riolu? xD
Flying: Charizard
Normal: Girafarig
Psychic: Hypno

You'll still be able to obtain the Johto starters, it just won't be as easy and you'll probably have to make some deals with other players! c;

E.M.B.E.R, I love Totodile too *~* But Piplup is my favorite starter just because my first game was Diamond xD As you said with Totodile, it has a special place in my heart.. ;-; <3

Grass: I've never had a grass type in my team 'cause I don't like them xD But if you judge by looks.. Meganium or Sawsbuck
Electric: Luxray <3
Dark: I dunno, Hydreigon looks awesome
Fairy: Togekiss?
Dragon: Dialga
Ground: Cubone
Rock: Rhydon? (Dun like Rock either)
Ice: (Neither do I like Ice) Lapras
Ghost: Um.. don't like ghost either xD
Steel: Empoleon again.. xD Possibly Lucario but never used 'em in battle.
Bug: HATE BUGS.
Fighting: Wow I hate a lot of types.. Mienshao?
Flying: Staraptor <3
Normal: Tauros <3

I know you did, Sezza. So you'd go with Ruby when the time comes?

I know the feeling. My first game was HearGold (although I later got Platinum), so my Feraligatr is very special to me. Even though I love Totodile, I think my favorite starter would be Mudkip. Love that little guy.

Fire-Blaziken
Water- Milotic or Swampert
Grass- Serperior
Electric- Not a fan, but probably Luxray or Ampharos
Ice- Lapras
Flying- Crobat
Poison- Crobat
Psychic- Victini or Jirachi
Normal- Melotta (but not a fan overall)
Dark- Greninja
Ghost- Aegislash or Giratina
Fairy- Togekiss or Gardevoir
Dragon- Garchomp or Rayquaza
Bug- Volcorona
Rock- Don't use it much, but maybe Aerodactyl or Tyrantrum?
Ground- Swampert
Steel- Lucario
Fighting- Lucario or Blaziken

I might do the same, since my best friend would disown me if I went with Ruby.

I'll probably end up with Ruby first, though in the end I'll probably get both of them. Ruby was the first Pokemon game I owned myself, so... Probably a bit attached to it, even though I do like Kyogre a bit more.

Anyways.

Fire- Arcanine
Water- Gotta be either Swampert or Vaporeon
Grass- Grovyle. All the way Grovyle.
Electric- Joltik or Manectric
Ice- Um, Weavile, I guess. Weavile's ice type right
Flying- Staraptor.
Poison- I... Don't know. My mind just went blank on poison types and this internet is too horrible for me to check whoops.
Psychic- Solosis. I have no idea why but there you go. |D
Normal- PORYGON [eye twitch]
Dark- Absol, as over used as it tends to be.
Ghost- Aegislash
Fairy- Gardevoir
Dragon- Altaria or Flygon.
Bug- Beedrill
Rock- Gigalith
Ground- Diglet's cute?
Steel- Magnezone
Fighting- Gallade
