- awkward silence -
what are those?
idk. I need to get out more.

I don't like homecoming. I have an awful habit of saying no, as I don't want to be attached at the hip with them for the evening. I mainly just go for the food and the pre-parties. Those are fun.

Yay for Ari! A ring, that's a fabulous idea, I love how you portrayed it violet! Can't wait to see what happens from here owo

ehhh they weren't good so people just didn't join and so they didn't get enough for a team this year. Those who really wanted to still play (a total of about 4 guys) went to other schools to play.

Now we got a homecoming soccer game. Hoo-rah. At least they can win a game here and there.

Two bad things about living in England: no homecoming or football (not your kind anyway. Our football is your 'soccer' so... yeah.
`Twas brillig,
and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

That awkward moment where you're in a different county where there is 0 football.

Football=Soccer here...
We have Rugby, Gaelic and Hurling though.
And basketball. *derp, too short to help much. Plays it anyway*

But yes yes. I have NO clue what you do in American football.

American football is a lot of fun. Not just to play or watch it, but to get together with your friends and bundle up in bleachers and talk and eat food and stay up late with them.

I'm going to a tailgate thingy Friday before the game yaaaaass.
