How I RP

• I've been an RPer for years, but never over here on CS.
• I'm a semi-literate RPer and will not RP with one-liners or few-liners. I'm a little out of practice right now, so expect an average of 100 words or so. When I'm back up to speed that might go to 200 or more. My starting posts and some scenes are usually a bit long.
• I usually RP male characters, although it does depend some on the plot/setting. I also usually only RP one main character, with the occasional side character. I tend to neglect and under-develop when RPing more than two or three characters at a time.
• I like interesting plots, and discussing and planning with my partner. As well as ooc chitterchatter about life.
• Long-term plot and interesting characters!
• Where I'm from we don't do excessive bbcoding on every post. I really couldn't care less how you post as long as I can read it. Meaning please don't make it smaller or light colored.
• By PM, preferably.

Desired plots

• "Darkness" -- ask me about it. involves a world a world with a red-glowing tree, monstrous night creatures, and very confused characters.
• Sci-fi. Not so big into this, but I have an idea involving computer mind control hacking that I would be interested in trying to make work.
• Animals. I think a realistic animal plot could be interesting, or perhaps something more fantastic (along the lines of Fire Bringer and Watership Down). Not really a preferred genre.
• Experiments/Mutants -- ask me about my plot
• Wolf's Rain based plot
• Fantasy! all and any, really.

  • Swords and sorcery adventure
  • LOTR-esque (note "esque"), with dwarves, elves, etc.

No-nos

• Romance. I would consider incorporating it, but I do not do plots that revolve around or include romance. Romance should not be a plot. It should be character development.
• Fandoms. I would vaguely consider a few if you had a strong plot, but there aren't many things I know enough about for it to be fun for me.
• Boring. I need plot and I need character.
• Ditching me without warning. If it's not working tell me.

A bit about how I RP:

I prefer to RP in a forum, because I often lose PMs but I would be willing to try through PM. I tend to respond pretty rapidly, so if I see a new post in the forum I will reply. I like to tailor my post to my RP partner so if you prefer long paragraphs I will do the same. I usually do 1-3 paragraphs. I prefer to RP as Male characters but I have difficulties playing dominant/ bulky built characters and prefer to RP as the submissive/ slim built ones as I am naturally a submissive person by nature, yet I love to play bratty and pompous characters. I am not too fond of strait romances because of these things. I can also RP through CS, FR, or SKYPE, so I will work with whatever you are comfortable with. I am very unlikely to abandon an rp, unless I absolutely have to or if I feel tricked into rping something I am not willing to do. I Do have a preference for the Second character listed in the List of things I want to RP, for example, Ike x Soren, I would like to RP Soren

a little about me: hai there, I'm capnnova. but please, just call me capn or nova. and yes, I'm a certificated captain so don't worry. anyways, I'm a lady in life whom enjoys talking to a camera for youtube, fangirling, writing, horseback-riding, photography, skate boarding, dog agility, tumblr, and roleplaying. I do own five horses. in general, I am online pretty often. although, on school days I may be on shorter then I would with no school. but on tuesdays I often do zumba with a friend of mine, and on thrusday I have youth group [church] for a few hours, 5:45pm-9:00pm. also on sundays I attend sunday school from 8am-1:30pm [all pacific time]. usually I am pretty literate. it varies from the type of person or people I'm roleplaying with. if you give me a paragraph with 10+ sentences, I'll reply with the same thing. but expect me to do more then 5+ sentences at least. I also like things to be neat and organized, so stuff looks pretty. also, don't be afraid to shot me a pm. I love to just chit chat and such as well. I also wanna point out that if we end up roleplay a malexfemale type thing, I prefer to be the female, just because I totally fail at being the male. I can also roleplay offsite or over pms.

and you my friend: I really hope you can be online here and there. no, I don't expect you to be on as often as me and all. Hello, as you can tell i am looking for 1-3 1x1 rp's at the moment. I am from the U.S., but i am on at all hours of the day and night, so being in a different time zone shouldn't be that big of a deal. I am a girl, I am a part time college student , going into the career of design (more toward video game and movie design). I am fairly active on CS, i tend to get on daily, and if i cannot be on for an extended amount of time i will pm you explaining why. I am generally nice and i am always willing to talk to anyone or help anyone, even if i don't know them. I have been through a lot in my life and there are certain topics that i stay away from completely because of my history. ✏ I'm a girl.
✏ I consider myself a semi-literate roleplayer. Posts can vary from anywhere between around 3 lines to 2 paragraphs, depending on my mood and how much you give me to reply to. They also usually have good spelling and grammar, although I type and read quite quickly so occasionally typos and errors will slip past me. Mostly I try to mirror my partner's posts.
✏ I am fairly active, although I am currently taking my very first GCSE exams, so you can pretty much blame any absences on that. I will try my best to warn you if I will be absent.
✏ I like to think I'm a very friendly person, so if you want to chat along side our roleplay, that's fine by me!
✏ I can play either gender and am happy with playing either.
✏ I am comfortable with MXF, FXF and MXM pairings, although I am slightly better playing straight characters, simply because I am straight myself.

{e x p e c t a t i o n s}

✏ I expect you to post at the very least once a day, or warn me if you are going to be absent for a while.
✏ Make an effort to use correct grammar and spelling. If you aren't even trying, I will most likely get bored. I just can't stand bad grammar and spelling.
✏ Add new twists and turns to the plot to spice things up. Roleplays are a joint effort; if I have to come up with every little plot device, I'm going to get fed up, and fast.
✏ Try to post at least three lines. Any less and it's difficult to reply to. Obviously writer's block is okay, it happens to all of us.
✏ If I'm doing something wrong or something you'd rather I didn't, please let me know! It's better to fix the problem than for you to get bored because you're unhappy.

✏ Right now, the main thing I'm interested in doing is Pokemon. Pretty much anything works for this; trainers, gijinkas, mystery dungeon... I'm not really fussy, I just really like doing Pokemon related roleplays.
✏ I'm also interested in a Warrior Cats forbidden romance. Something along the lines of Leafpool and Crowfeather; a medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice falling in love, or maybe cats from two rivalling Clans.
✏ I'm interested in non fandom plots too, just ask to find if I'm interested.
✏ As far as plots go, my favourite genre of roleplay is romance/adventure. I also like pure adventure roleplays, either is fine.

✏ Play canon characters. I just hate it. It's not something I enjoy doing. You can play canon characters if you want, but I would much rather do a roleplay purely with OCs.
✏ Pure romance roleplays. Pure romance bores me stupid. With an aspect of adventure, I quite enjoy romance roleplays, but romance alone is not enough to entertain me.
✏ Other fandom roleplays. While I do enjoy other series aside from Pokemon and Warrior Cats, those are the only fandoms I really enjoy roleplaying.
✏ Band/real people based roleplays. I just find this a little odd, no offence to those who enjoy it. I'm just not comfortable with playing a person who actually exist. This means musicians, actors, youtubers; if they are actually on this planet, I won't roleplay them.
✏ Pregnancy roleplays. Again, not something I'm comfortable with.
✏ One liners. One line is not enough to reply from. Nothing annoys me more than one-liners.
✏ Roleplay via PM/offsite. Forum threads only. I really dislike roleplaying over PM and I pretty much only roleplay here.
