.:On The Surface:.

Bourbon is a pretty stallion, having a black overo coat he is quite a eyeful. He is a TB mix who is just maturing at 6 year old. He was bred by English Breeders who where testing out genetics and being a second part of a twin he was not wanted and was shipped away for a new owner. He has a powerful stride and is pretty tall reaching just about 17hh. Anyone who owns this boy will have a lovely inhand horse to show.
.:Going Deeper:.

On a good day Bourbon can be a gentleman who loved cuddles and learning new things. But catch this stallion on a bad dad and you will have a challenging horse. Bourbon decided what to do and if he doesn't want to do something well then be prepared to have a fight. He will use anything he can to get out of doing something, either point blank refusing or lashing out. Bourbon may follow along with some gentle coaxing but he has to trust you to allow this. On a good day Bourbon is pretty much willing to try anything, if it involves showing off he is all set to do so and will try his hardest to please anyone around him. Bourbon has a way with children, as though it seems he has more patience around them.
Sometimes Bourbon will spook but depending on the situation at hand depends on his reaction. He does take work to get him past spooky rubbish or scary jumps but he does try, sadly he lets the scary things in life take him over and he panics badly. From a past bad experience he does have a small fear of plants, weather it be plant boxes or gardens which can be worked at with the right rider and training.

.:Competition Career:.

Bourbon has been in training but has been entered into some shows. Mostly in-hand shows but he has done some "baby" showjumping but the jumps where pretty much on the floor and where very simple. He does like shows but can be spooky at loud noises and camera flashes.

.:Registered Stable:.

.:On The Surface:.

Joe is a 21 year old who looks pretty normal to anyone passing by. He has medium length hair which is a dirty blonde with deep, icy blue eyes. He stands at around 6'1 so he is pretty tall and looks after his body so he most likely isn't one to mess with. He is from England so he does have a English accent which hasn't faded much with the years he has been in England.
.:Going Deeper:.

On the inside, Joe can be a horrible person. At first he most likely wont be liked by the fellow ranches due to his narcissistic personality, rude attitude, and his habit of calling everyone by offensive nicknames. He can be very manipulative to people around him, trying to get something he wants for something they want in whichever way that might be. He does like reading books and can be found quoting them in the right situation.

You wish for me to explain
this little southern queen into
short and sweet little nit picky words??
Well, with a little bit of rock and some roll,
Alaine can be quite the fun and outgoing person
that some many have proposed her to be.
Loving, soft spoken, and certainly kind hearted
she takes everyone's feelings in, and treats
them with respect.
Calm, collected it takes a lot to make her
we run hot. Alaine can take in a lot, and dish out
just as much when she needs to. Except when she is really
fired up and ready to snap are as rare as some ladies
tire getting shot in the wallie world parking lot.. Unless
your wallie world is full of insane people...
She'll break her back trying to make ends meet,
bend over backwards running around trying to please
everyones demanding commands.
When all she need to do to make everyone
content is just slow down, relax and realize
just how wonderful her life is.
Quiet and somewhat shy, if you take
the time to understand her and who
she is..
Well you take her to the next bonfire, and she'll
be some wired boot scootin and boogie
blonde headed partying animal.
Must I wanrn though, it takes a lot for her
to even consider you a friend.
but you get past that shy step, and the next door
that you open with Alaine, it'll be like a
new whole new change has happened, and some alien
transformed her into a whole new person.
She becomes playful, crazy and sarcastic.

From all the possible falls Alaine has had,
you would think she would suffer from brain disorders,
or live in fear of the equines..
Bet by the way she rides, that you would never
suppose of how nervous she gets..
Oh yeah, you heard me just right!
Before a run, Alaine's nerves get shot, and if she and Fade
can't pace and work out her trembles then Alaine almost
becomes hectic. Her hands will tremble, her teeth will
chatter, and her legs will tingle.
As she just sits their a nervous wreck waiting on her turn
to hurry up and come. Don't bother even speaking to her
at this time, cause want no compliments or funny
comments ease her pain.
Literally, hearing her name over the intercom increases her
pain, but as soon as it's her time to ease down that
alley way, with the first barrel in mind.
Every thing becomes just fine.

Whoa their Mr. Tiger, you already wanna know
a full DETAILED background and we only just met??
Ehhhh, I do suppose I can please your wish..
Born on a ranch way back in the heart of the smokies,
I've always been around family and horses.
Leading tourist through the winding hills since I was 7,
that's when I learned about my fathers rodeo back ground also.
Amazed and fascinated by what all he had done, that summer I promised myself
that by next year I would have my little red run mare ripping and ready to run.
So from then on out I spent a whole year working my mare around the cans,
while I had my dad by my side teaching me the ropes. He might not of knew
a lick of things about barrels, it was still special to me.
So within 2 years of riding, that red dun ranch pony turned into
a 3D suppa chic! On my 9th birthday we qualified for nationals,
and once we at nationals, my poor came down with colic.
Later on that night, she passed away. Tears in my eyes,
my dad picked me up from my ponies side and carried me back
to the camper. I thought my dreams where crushed, that little mare was only dang
thing I had ever even wanted to ride. That morning, my father look me in the eyes,
and said everything happens for a reason. I didn't care though, swearing that I would never
set seat back into the saddle. * But for a horse loving 9 year old that impossible*
So, what do you know for my 10th birthday my poppy (grandpa) bought me a little
sorrel one year old. She was mine to train and keep. Wild eyed and spirited that
mare was a heck seeker. No one ever thought she'd be turning and burning, and still
friends and family don't believe it till this day. The moral of my past, is that no matter
what objects fall in the future, keep your chin up, and keep on riding.

Moody Mare

Quite the little spit fire, Fade is a mare of her own desire and hers only. Yeah she works to please her own wishes, and defiantly listens to only a firm hand. Okay, so maybe Fade isn't all that bad, certainly a in your pocket type horse she doesn't play the game of "chase me" when at pasture.. Rain or Shine, Fade is ready to work though working her to hard gets this little sorrel a little pumped up and on the rearing and ready to ride side. Ancey on her moody days, you could classify her as hard to handle and certainly not a kids horse.. But under saddle this hard headed thing rides like a queen.
HisToRy
Shipped from Texas to the mountains, Fade was a birthday present for the little Alaine. For 6 years Alaine has been the only person to ride, and ever give commands to the sorrel. By the young age of 4, Fade was already running the barrels cleanly, but she wasn't consistent on her runs, not going to give up on her dream, Alaine and Fade continued to train in their own backyard. By the next year, it was then that Fade was introducded to the rodeo life, and from their many she has soared and reached many un-thinkable heights.
WhAt hAs ThE fLaW cAuSeD yOu To Do
Alaine's nervous problem has actually caused Fade to develop a bad case of circling.. By this I mean, that when she's standing awaiting her turn at the arena.. She tends to turn constantly in crcles, and I mean around and around so many times that Alaine is forced to pull the reins up and stop herd. Without any warning, Fade begins to circle to the other side, just like she had done the time before. If unable to circle, or walk her own jitters off, Fade will sit their and shiver. It's not a win win situation for either horse nor rider.

╔══════════════════════╗
Mike Long
Male | 19 | The Country Kid

╚══════════════════════╝

Name:: Howdy, my name is Mike.
Nickname:: I do not have any nickname. That means do not call me Mikey. I hate that name.
Age:: I was born on February 5, 1994. That makes me nineteen wonderful years old.
Gender:: I am a boy. Born that way and if anything changes I am sure to notice.

Hair Color:: My hair is a dark red brown color but it is hard to tell under my hat. I like to keep my hair just long enough to run my fingers through but short enough to hide under my hat. I guess its kinda a cowboy, country kid, thing. I hate gel so gives away that I never spike my hair.
Eye Color:: My eyes are a light brown with a green tint to them. Do not ask about the green, kinda runs in the family. A little unique part of me.
Height:: I stand at only five foot three in height. Sucks when trying to mount my seventeen hand horse. Being short sometimes also helps when ya get stuck under the bull.
Weight:: I weigh a small one hundred and thirty pounds. Easier to go flying off a horse, which always hurts.
Body Type:: Since I ride horses and have worked with them all my life my short little body has gain lots of muscle. Short and skinny are good then you add muscle and your sexy...haha. But along with my built body, I have scars from many broken bones. I have literally broken every bone in my body for getting stepped on or bucked off. My favorite scars are the hoof shaped ones cause those take the place of a real tattoo.

Tattoos:: On my back I have a large tribal tattoo. It has no real meaning to it but being young at the time my father agreed to take me to get one.

Personality:: I can say that I am pretty laid back. I was taught manners at a young age so I can be very polite. You know, that southern hospitality. All men should have a little of southern hospitality. My parents raised me right and we always went to church. I do have a small attitude when things are not going how I may like them, such as when I am riding. If anyone needs help I am normally first in line to help. But in competitions I can get pretty competitive. I hate losing but it happens and I move on.

Background:: Born and raised in the in a small town in Texas, I have been working on a farm all my life. My family was a little on the crazy side when it came to owning a farm. We had everything from a two acre farm with over one hundred cattle to a small chicken pen. My father was a champion bull rider and my mother showed cattle. It was a great life for a young kid. Sadly our finances would not allow us to keep all two hundred acres and all our stock. So we down sized a little selling half our land which also began to separate my family. I was only ten years old when my parents finally called it quits on their marriage. My father kept the farm and my mother moved into the city. I lived mostly with my father during those times only because I had a hard time adjusting to the city life. I have never any day in my life stepped foot in a school. I was taught everything I know from my father. He began to teach me how to bull ride, rope, cut, barrel, team rope, anything. We worked on trucks, tractors, or anything with a motor as a side hobby. I started competing in rodeos at twelve, though young I looked older. I won my first competition and have placed decently since. My father was proud and took me on a trip to catch a wild horse. Out in Texas there was a small wild horse rescue where daring people bought and broke some of the best horses I have seen. It proved more difficult than bareback at the rodeos.

With years ahead of me I began the process of breaking my new horse. My father put my rodeo training on hold and helped all he could with my horse. It did not take long for the stallion to realize that me sitting in the coral meant treats. I never used rope, or any other breaking material. My father called it the Native way of breaking a horse. Hours went by each day that I sat in the middle of the coral and the bond between me and my horse began. When I was able to ride him, bareback was easier, I practiced my roping. Turned out to be a great horse and I took him to my first competition. We did not win but I knew that he trusted me more than anything else.

When I turned fourteen I was competing in many rodeos, manly the bull riding and the cafe roping. I raised my horse Trigger to be a great roping horse and I am currently working with him on cutting. The bond between us has grown stronger than ever. When I turned sixteen, I got the news that my mother had been killed by a drunk driver. Though I had not seen my mother in four years, I still wept and grieved. After which my father continued to help me train and become better, but with his older age it was more difficult for him. Trusting I was doing fine on my own, he found this summer camp for me to train and compete at. At nineteen I decided to give the camp a try. It was not the best of camps. I quit the camp only three days in because they told me the bond between the horse and I was mere friendship and not competitive. What ever that meant. My only friends have every been in rodeos and the farm hands at home. Today I ride Trigger everyday. Now, after years of breaking nearly every bone in my body, scars to prove them as well, I am ready to face the world alone. Just me and my horse, Trigger.

Clothing Style:: You will always see me in a pair of jeans and boots. That only changes when I wish to go swimming. My shirts are either plaid or plane. Camouflage is just as amazing, anything from hats to shirts. I have a variety of hats, you know the cowboy ones, as well as a variety of ball caps. I have a cross necklace I never take off and a ring that my father wore. In the winter I wear heavy jackets and other warm clothing. But I always have boots. Can't be a cowboy without the boots. I gratefully have only three pair, one for dirty work, another for riding and the last for competition.

Image
As Free AsThe Wind:: I have one very loyal and amazing horse. His stable name is As Free as the Wind but I simply call him anything. I guess when your as close to a horse as I am, its hard to pick a true name. My father called him Trigger because he was always unpredictable and as my dad would say, "He goes off like one of those trigger happy gunslingers in the movies." So his name is Trigger.

He is a gelding and about seven years old. I have been told he is a American Mustang. He is a buckskin color with a black strip down his back. His mane and tail are black as night and his eyes a calm brown.

He rides more Western or bareback. He is a high spirited horse with tons of energy. At only four years old he learned to open and close just about any door. Even if I close a door or gate, Trigger is not to far behind to reopen it. There is no huge need of a lead rope with this young gelding because where ever I go Trigger is right behind. He is a loyal and gentle horse and will do anything for affection. His curiosity often gets him into trouble but he will find a way to get attention if getting into trouble gets him attention. So if he is laying in the pasture or laying in his stable, ignore him. Though he loves his attention, I am the only one who can ride him.
