- it's been a decade since tris died. since the erudite, dauntless, candor, and abnegation stopped fighting. everything's at peace. or so it seems. more and more dauntless have been found dead. some have committed suicide, some...haven't. no one knows what is going on, until it is found out that dauntless have been raging towards each other. turning against themselves. though the dauntless are selfish, they most definitely aren't this selfish. the dauntless are supposed to be fearless, not cowards. suicide and murder isn't the solution to that. but neither is to back down. it seems as if a war has started between one faction; the dauntless itself. death seems to be the new style within the dauntless headquarters. stepping off the chasm and being thrown off of it; it doesn't change. bodies are being found every day; whether it's one or three. finally, there is only twenty-four dauntless left. one group of twelve, containing an even amount of girls and boys, decide to abandon the cursed headquarters and take refuge somewhere outside of their past territory. the other half take over the headquarters.
they don't know when, or where, but they know how. the battle will take place eventually, but all they have left to do is become sitting ducks. they don't ask for any other faction help, because they are dauntless. they are fearless. these deaths can't continue. they are no longer a single faction anymore. they've become two groups; the refugees and the headquarters.
will the two fight to death in battle, or will they find peace eventually? that's your decision.
