hello and welcome to my, er, wonderful roleplay thread. since the rules changed about how many pictures per form that you roleplay with, i sadly had to recreate all my forms. i'm still in the process of doing so, and as the old thread i had was getting cluttered, i deleted in, and started afresh. everything may or may not look very pretty at the moment, so i'm not really worried about theft, but please, don't do anything other then look. ;3; thank you~

also all pictures belong to their respectful owners, same go with quotes, but often times i put the person who said it below. just in case i forget though, i'll say quotes. all forms were made by me unless otherwise stated.

Note to Readers

Postby Gratefultritone » Sat Nov 16, 2013 5:59 am

please note i do not roleplay very actively anymore, but i do love making forms and characters. with that said, please feel free to message me if you really see a character that interests you, or if one of my forms actually looks nice, and you would like to use it. nine times out of ten i probably won't mind giving you the character/letting you use the form, just because i don't use them all that much anymore. still, please don't take any forms/characters without my permission.

the thing i heard most often in my life was 'you can't do that.' you were supposed to sit up straight, don't cross your legs, never raise your voice, and never should you act out in public. there were no excuses. that's all i heard for a good part of the 18 years i've been alive, and those words that were spoken repeatedly to me by my mother still echo in my head.
i lived a perfect life, from the outside. i was a lady from age five, knew all my table manners and could dance just about every way ever seen; but most my mother never saw. hip hop, rap, even certain tap-dance routines my mother wouldn't approve of. oh how i loved to dance though, so when i was young i didn't put much thought into it. i took violin lessons, speak fluent french. all things my mother pushed me to do. i never really had much of a desire to do anything more. i had friends in my private school, i had a nice house, my father was almost always away from work but it never bothered me. money was never an issue. that is, until my parents divorced.
my mother when she married my father went into it with nothing, and relied entirely on him and the multi-million dollar business he ran. yet when the time came for them to split, the only thing my mother got out of her twelve years with him (and i was that age, at the time) was me. my father never fought for me. he didn't know me, so why should he? that never made it any easier when my mother started entering me into any dance competition she could possibly enter.
i was good. good enough to win prize money, land a few small time gigs in acting. my mother worked two part-time jobs, but every time she got one she'd lose it almost immediately. she couldn't work, never did a day in her life, and the lifestyle she was used to cost too much. so she sold me.
i was scared, no doubt. being meek and mild as i was i didn't do much about it. luckily i was just sold to a family who couldn't have children of their own, but also couldn't adopt because of their elderly age. i was given food, and roof over my head, but i did most housework and took care of myself. life got rough; i wasn't in a fancy private school anymore, and the downtown area wasn't kind to me. i eventually grew a backbone and toughened up my act, but it was a long time coming, and the bullies and such were enough to make me want to run away. so i did, in a way.
i had just turned eighteen, and i dyed my hair bright pink and purple, making me stand out quite a bit, but with a little makeup i didn't even recognize myself in the mirror. i'd been working a small job here and there, and had continued to dance. so in the middle of the night i walked out the front door of the house i never called home, and joined the world i was once so afraid of.
i never did finish high-school, i only had one more year to go. instead i dropped out and started working all the hours i could manage, and go down to places where i would dance. sometimes street corners, sometimes clubs, little coffee shops, whoever would hire me. even did a stunt at a kids birthday party once. but i survived, and will continue to, even if i have to claw my way to the top. whatever people think of me, i no longer care. anyone with a little sense would know to stay away, because i no longer allow myself to get close to anyone. i live alone in this twisted world, and you can either love me, or hate me; i don't care.

I was supposed to be a boy. Of course, parents really don't have much of a choice in the matter, but my father was dead-set on having a son. My father never seemed to get that boy he wanted, but he did get five girls, two are twins. We were all close, both in age and just plain 'ol sister relationships. We were all a year apart, and with me being the oldest, I sometimes get stuck in an odd place of temporary boss, and best friend. It's not easy to be both, either.
Of course, there are lots of things it's not easy to be both of. For me, it's being a girl, and acting like a boy. My father did more or less raise me like a boy, and while my mother tried putting me in all the frilly dresses, and the pink bows in my hair, I would never allow it. It just wasn't me, and I knew it. Didn't make it any easier, though. For the longest I hung out with all guys, and wouldn't even speak to most girls. It's not like I didn't like them, I just never had anything in common with them. I was obsessed with soccer, and even played on the school team. I played rough, just like all the boys I hung out with. After a while the girls on my team, and other teams, grew to dislike me. The school hated all the complaints they were getting as well, and I was kicked off the team.
It broke my heart, since I loved it so much. My mother tried to get me to do something else, like piano, singing, dancing, ice-skating, anything that was somewhat more feminine. It never really worked for her, or me. I still liked my baggy clothes, short-cropped hair, and hung out with the same guys at school like I always did. Eventually, my father found me a spot on a soccer team outside of school, and soon it became my everything. Every other night I went to practice, and on my nights off I'd work alone in my backyard, training for the next game into the early hours of the morning. It literally consumed everything I did, but I was good. Best on the team, and even I knew it. We won every game, and I won't say that was all me; it was a team effort.
As I got older, I still had a love of soccer, mud, and never lost my hate for pink. But it did get a little awkward between me and my friends at school. All the girls were head-over-heels for the guys, many of which were my friends. People started to date, and high school slowly turned into a nightmare. I lost most of my friends because they were chasing girls, and I just wasn't one of them. I never really liked any of the guys, either, at least not like the girls did. Soon, the only thing I had left was soccer, and the only friends were in that team. Yet even they started thinking about guys, (which I didn't understand, I mean, what ever happened to cooties?) but while I didn't have much in common there, we all still loved soccer.
My younger sisters gave me advice, showed me how to be a girly-girl, but I never could quite pull it off. I'd always hate the tight clothes, the things they talked about, and makeup was just terrible. Everyone still called me Nate no matter how hard I tried to change, and soon I gave up. My cocky and brash nature just wouldn't go away, and I still talked too much, never about the right things, it seemed. I started reading more, turned into a book nerd, the very type of person I used to make so much fun of. The only thing constant in my life, though, seemed to be soccer. So I stayed there, in my little sports bubble, stayed away from both guys and girls like they all had cooties (which I still believed in, don't try to convince me of anything different) and spent all my time alone.
My family was always very supportive of whatever I decided to do, which I was grateful for. We were middle-class, just average, so nothing was ever much of an issue. We were happy, content, and stayed that way. Soon, my sisters grew older and joined high school as well, even shared a class or two sometimes. It never really bothered me, and in fact I just grew even closer to them. It was nice to have family so close, everywhere. Most of the time, anyway. All family gets on your nerves sometimes.

                  N A M E ~ Tali Ubvern
                  A G E ~ 17
                  G E N D E R ~ Female
                  H I G H T ~ 5"6
                  W E I G H T ~ 126
                  F E A T U R E S ~ Brown wavy/curly hair, brown eyes, pale white skin all but summer months, always wearing glasses.
                  P E T ~ Charlie/Char-Char
                  C R U S H ~ N/A
                  S E X U A L I T Y ~ Bisexual, leans towards guys.
                  S T A T U S ~ Single
P E R S O N A L I T Y ~ Tali tends to be very bubbly and outgoing, always looking to meet new people and put a smile on someone's face. She is very social and loves talking to people of all ages, though sometimes her friendships don't go very deep. She is always willing to lend an ear to anyone who needs one, though doesn't talk about her own problems very often. She tends to be very trusting once you get to know her, though her trust does take a little while to get. Tali doesn't like relationships very much mainly because of her past experiences with them, though if you do get her to open up about herself she tends to fall head over heels. She also loves trying new things and experiencing things she hadn't before, and her fashion sense often shows that.
H I S T O R Y ~ Tali lived a fairly ordinary life with her mother, though her father died when she was very young. With her mother being an engineer, she has always been very exposed to math, and lots of other electronics which her mother always tinkered with. Because of this math is one of her best, and favorite subjects, and she has always been very good with other people like that. She is currently in her last year of high school, though the previous two years she was in a serious relationship with a guy who broke her heart after two years. Slightly lost, Tali finally rebuilt her self-esteem and tried to fix her heart, but hasn't been in many relationships, and none at all since then.
                  L I K E S ~ Violin, browns/tans, beaches, water/swimming, pickles, small dogs, math, fashion, and jazz music.
D I S L I K E S ~ Screamo music, batteries, chocolate spreads, elephants, people who saw "awwww" a lot, and people who interrupt anyone while they are talking.
                  A L L T R A I T S ~ Kind, Trusting, Weary, Nervous, Different, Adventurous, Smart, Empathetic, and Brutally Honest.

form made by Frankie~Iero (but coded by me) and was used in this roleplay.

hi, tali ubvern here. i am more than clearly female, though take no offense if you assume that i am otherwise. i am also seventeen years old. i have long brown hair, slightly longer then shoulder length, and very curly. i have pale white skin, though in the summer months it's much more tan. i can always be found with my glasses, mainly because my eyesight isn't that great. though i must warn you, i tire of things really fast, and my glasses are no exception. i am always flitting from one thing to the next, wanting to learn something new but never quite getting any better then mediocre at it. not that it really bothers me, i think it's interesting trying new things, and i am always trying to find something that will get my attention. one thing that i am really good at though, is the violin. i love all sorts of music, though this one instrument holds a special place in my heart, probably because i've played it since i was five. the only other thing that has stayed that consistent in my life is my fashion style; totally weird, and changing. i love to follow all the newest trends, but often i try to put my own spin on them. i also love taking the old fashion styles and making them more modern looking. a lot of times it doesn't work all that great, but it's not like i really care all too much about what people think about my clothes. of course, my mom cares a little bit more than i. i never really knew my father (he died when i was really young) so it was always just me and my mom. not that i mind though, i think she's pretty cool overall. she is an engineer, don't ask me what branch, i can't remember nor pronounce it. she is always tinkering with anything that has wires though, and for some reason we have more batteries and wires lying around than anything else. she does have a killer fashion sense on days outside of the office though, and maybe from time to time i try to use that style, but she is always telling me to be myself. i try to follow that as much as i can, though when i really sit back and think about it, it's just kind of hard not to be that way for me. i do have my own car (finally!), a cute little brown bug, with a tan convertible top. browns and tans are some of my favorite colors, though i really don't like dirt. don't judge, 'kay? i also have my dog, charlie, who i call char-char. i am currently not dating everyone, and straight if interested. if you want to know anything else about me, don't hesitate to ask!

    Nᴀᴍᴇ: Vern Braiden Lichten
    Aɢᴇ: 19
    Gᴇɴᴅᴇʀ: Male
Aᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ: Short black curly hair, tan skin, green eyes. 5"9 in height, 152 in weight. xxx
    Rᴏᴍᴀɴᴛɪᴄ Sᴛᴀᴛᴜs: Single
    Oʀɪᴇɴᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Straight
Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Vern is kind of a quiet guy at many times, though is very confident in the way he holds himself. He is very smart in a book sense, though sometimes around people you can tell he is somewhat awkward talking. He is always dressed very nice and tries to stay clean, and all aspects of his life are like this, (his room, car, even handwriting) making him slightly OCD. He is rather gentle overall and wouldn't hurt a fly unless provoked, though it takes quite a bit to get him riled up. He tends to keep to himself though enjoys a good conversation. He doesn't mind company and even sometimes enjoys it, but often doesn't know how to meet people and strike up a conversation.
Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ: Vern was born into quite a bit of money. His father was a business man, his mother stay at home. He loves them both very much and tries to see them as often as he can, though it may be hard as his father is away a lot. He moved out as soon as he turned eighteen.
Lɪᴋᴇs: Quietness, old music, monotone colors, sleek looking things, granite counter tops, cleaning, symmetry, math, saxophone, and piano.
Dɪsʟɪᴋᴇs: Disorder, golfing, cheap wallets, snow globes, boiled eggs, stepping on legos, electric toothbrushes, and sour-cream and onion chips.

eye color;; hazel

lonnie, or lon for short, is generally very calm. in all situations he can keep his emotion under control and tries to keep those around him in the same mindset. he is very trusting and loves to be around people and animals, and will talk to both given the chance. he was born into a family of seven, with four brothers, him being in the dead middle. he's used to blending in and generally doesn't try too hard to stand out. his family is considered middle class, and he is perfectly fine with it. he doesn't generally want to much out of anyone or anything. often times things do anger him, but he doesn't ever say too much about it. if you make him mad, there is a good chance he will stay like that for quite a while. break his trust, and he'll never trust you again. while he tries to see the best in people, and usually does, there are those times when he struggles. he has a softer spot for girls, and generally doesn't hang out with guys who are 'tough' or don't have the same ideas as him. he can be a little bit close-minded at times. his appearance is a lot like his personality; normal and doesn't stand out too much. jeans and a t-shirt make up the majority of his wardrobe and has no intention of ever changing. he is single and wouldn't mind a relationship, but doesn't want to get burned because he can be too trusting.

known for his intimidating size of a good five feet tall and from beak to tail over eight feet tall, cyrill is not one you can easily miss. being a gryphon, his coloring is like that of a lion from head to toe, save for a few white feather-tips and white-tipped tail, and is somewhat unique considering there aren't any to compare him to. he almost never utters any sound unless to warn lonnie. he tends to only like lonnie, but will trust anyone that he does. he is very affectionate when you get to know him but unless he or lonnie knows you he can be very defensive. he stands up for those that he likes and tends to have everyone's back if needed. he is slow to anger and usually lets go of things pretty fast, but he'll never truly trust you again. he likes being around other people but doesn't like huge crowds and is nervous around people he doesn't know. he prefers to be around people and dislikes being alone and sometimes this can make him a bit clingy.

╚─────────────╝ Since age five Lonnie has been playing sports. He always prided himself in not only being able to play any sport, but to do it well. Life was pretty easy for him; only child, parents loving and supporting of almost anything, got along great with them both. Never went a single day without a girlfriend since fifth grade when he scored the winning goal in the last soccer game of the year. Grades might not have always been the best, but when you know that your good at everything else, why matter so much about something as insignificant as grades? He tends to be very outgoing, quite a bit of a showoff, and very blunt. It is generally hard to earn his respect and trust (unless you are a coach), but once you get it, there is very little you can do to lose it. His first opinion of a person, based on fact or not, he the one he usually sticks with. He loves to have friends and tries to keep up with those that can tolerate him. He is very picky with the people he hangs around and generally only will do so unless he genuinely likes you, or has something to gain by knowing you.
