will you be my valentine one x one partner?
***If you wish to know what I want, what I expect and some other information right away, please only focus on the things in red~
{{ about me & what to expect of me }}
Hey there, beautiful. What? No, no, I'm not trying to flirt with you! I call everyone beautiful because to me, everyone is beautiful~ I'm BavarianSoul, but feel free to call me Bav, Bavaria, Soul, Kate or anything else that floats your boat. I'm a female and in my late teens and, just like you, I am looking for a interesting roleplay and friendly partner to brighten up my generally boring life. I live in the Central European time zone, so more often than not I may not be online when you are - although I do tend to be online at the weirdest of times where I live. What can I say, insomnia just can't stay away from me. I usually reply within a day or two, but sometimes I may take longer than that for various reasons such as school, no muse for a particular roleplay or personal reasons. However, I won't leave a still active roleplay for a long time without notice, I will PM you should I be gone for an extended period of time. My grammar, punctuation and spelling are decent, but quiet naturally I will sometimes make errors. Everyone does and mine are mostly caused by typing way too quickly and overseeing them when proof-reading my reply. I won't attack you if you occasionally make a few mistakes as long as you tolerate that I make them, as well. Keep in mind that English isn't my mother tongue, either. As for the size of my replies, I don't go by the usual labels - everyone defines 'semi-lit' differently, for example. I tend to mirror your post length, but I can generally write two to eight detailed and relatively long paragraphs. I don't have any preference concerning the gender of my characters, as well as their sexuality. I am comfortable with mxm, fxf and mxf pairings. Quiet naturally, I understand if you are not comfortable with roleplaying one or more of those. I generally don't have any limitations about mature topics, meaning I don't mind swearing, alcohol, drugs or roleplaying excessive violence, gore, sexual scenes, etc. Anything is fine with me, really. Please make sure to tell me in advance about any limitations you may have concerning mature themes. As for where we roleplay, I have a strong preference for either e-mail or PM, but I can deal with the forum if I really have to, either here or somewhere else if you'd like to include mature topics.
{{ what i expect of you }}
I pretty much expect of you the same things you can expect of me.
So, if you actually even scanned trough the above post, you should know by now what I am looking for in a roleplay partner. I want someone who can write a couple of nicely sized and detailed paragraphs. I actually don't mind much if your reply is shorter than mine, as long as I am able to reply to it and it has some details put into it, I am more than happy. I'd like for you to have decent spelling and grammar so I am able to understand what you're saying. I also want you to be respectful, mature and patient if I should not reply right away. I don't necessarily need to chat, but I'd absolutely love to - I like to get to know the one I'm roleplaying with, as well. I would love if you could let me know if you're going to be gone for more than a few days. I'm a patient person myself, but I just prefer to know if you're not going to be able to reply for some time. The most important thing, though, is that you can help me keep the plot interesting and moving. No one likes a boring roleplay, and as much as I hate drama and sudden changes and occurrences in real life, they are usually necessary to keep things interesting.
{{ what i'd like to roleplay }}
The moment you've all been (more or less) waiting for, I now present to you what I'd actually like to roleplay in the first place. I'll give you a short summary for each topic, as well as how much I'd like to roleplay it and if I have any preferences about my character's gender and the kind of pairing. If I have a (vague) plot idea, I will mention that, too.
Post-apocalyptic world//Fallout based [6/10]
Ah, Fallout is actually the main reason as to why I suddenly crave this topic again. Naturally, it doesn't have to be Fallout based - any kind of post-apocalyptic setting would be fine with me, no matter if it was caused by war (nuclear or not), zombies or something else. As for Fallout based ones, I've only really played trough Fallout 3, so I know the world pretty well. I only played New Vegas for a short amount of time (I really ought to get to that one again...), but my lack of knowledge about anything concerning that part of the world could easily be fixed with my character not being from there or having amnesia.
I currently do only have a few minor ideas for both, but I'm more than willing to figure things out with you. I don't have a gender preference for a normal post-apocalyptic based one, but would prefer to play a female (or a female and a male if you really want to have a female, as well] for anything Fallout based. Any kind of pairing goes for both.
^^ Please note that I already have about three of those roleplays already, two normal and one Fallout based one, so I'll only take another if you present me with a great plot/are willing to think of one with me. ^^
Wild West based [7/10]
Yet another thing I only crave again because of a video game, Red Dead Redemption (both the normal one and Undead Nightmare). It doesn't matter much to me if you know the game and want to somehow base it on that (as long as it isn't the same thing in roleplay form, I'm okay with it), or if you just want a 'normal' western based roleplay. There are a lot of things we could build into this, be it zombies, bandits, rebellions, treasure hunts, or anything else that suits that time.
I have a vague idea for something along the lines of sheriff x outlaw, but per usual, I'm up for suggestions. I'd prefer to play a male here and, if possible, a mxm pairing.
Grey-romantic x Romantic person [7/10]
No, not pure romance here. I was imagining something like this for the plot:
This is some kind of fantasy world rather than a realistic one. The grey-romantic one is some kind of mercenary and one day, s/he gets hired from the romantic person to accompany him/her and watch out for them. Over the time, they begin to have some kind of 'nothing serious' relation going on with each other (meaning no feelings involved and no actual commitment to each other). However, the romantic person begins to feel for the other one and swears that he will not rest until the other has fallen for him/her and admitted to those feelings. S/he then dies somehow, but returns as a ghost because s/he still has unfinished business (the fall for me and admit it thing). Once the two of them meet again, the grey-romantic one is more than shocked to see the other again. S/he might have already fallen for the other, but mistakes it as friendship and the regret of having someone who trusted him/her die since s/he has never felt romantic attraction before, even not the slightest bit, thus s/he still has not admitted that the loves the other. The grey-romantic one soon finds out that s/he can bring the other back to life if s/he travels somewhere (maybe having something to do with an imaginary deity watching over the deceased ones) and goes trough various trials. PM me if you should be interested in this so I can explain it a little more in detail. vuv
I'd prefer if this could be either a fxf or a mxf pairing, but I'm also open for a mxm one. I'd prefer to play the grey-romantic one, though, and in a mxf pairing the female.
Stranded on a deserted island [9/10]
And by that I don't mean the kid friendly ones, to be honest. I mean more realistic ones (not necessarily completely realistic, but still), ones where you constantly are fighting to survive instead of just magically having everything - you ought to find fresh water, food (edible, of course - you don't want to end up eating poisonous plants, do you?), a safe place away from any dangers (wild animals, maybe slave traders who are after you or a kind of native tribe that wishes to sacrifice you to their deity... which might actually turn out to be more real than you thought?) and of course you have to deal with the place itself. Extreme heath during the day and cold during the night and such. There's much more I could probably think of if I think hard enough, those are just the things I could think of right away.
I don't have a gender or pairing preference for this one.
Pandora's Box [6/10]
Somebody has tinkered with Things Man Ought Not, or opened a portal to another dimension or summoned an ancient Babylonian god into a penthouse. Either way, chaos ensues. Before two characters who were sent from some kind of secret organisation which makes sure such things either don't happen or take them back where they belong can even think of confronting the source of the trouble, they must deal with the waves of trouble already released by it: monsters, old foes out for vengeance, curious aliens who think cars/citizens/electronic devices resemble food, and so forth. Some twists could include: The characters can't simply take the released badness to the mat; they have to collect it and shove it back into the source before the adventure can really end. The characters are drawn in to the source and must solve problems on the other side before returning to this one. A secret book, code, or other rare element is necessary to plug the breach (maybe just the fellow who opened it). A similar plot could also be the basic "somebody has travelled into the past and messed with our reality" story.
I don't have a gender or pairing preference for this roleplay.
Supernatural creatures [6/10]
I'm specifically interested in anything including demons, spirits and ghosts, but other supernatural creatures could surely be interesting, as well. There's nothing much to say about this other than that, really.
I have a vague plot idea for a roleplay involving demons, but I'm more than happy to hear any ideas you may have. I don't have a gender preference for this. Any kind of pairing goes for this.
Paranormal hunters [7/10]
No, not paranormal investigators, but hunters - meaning a team of two people who work together to eliminate supernatural creatures. They get hired to take something out, or follow rumours. Either way, there are a lot of twists we could add - maybe one of them is a supernatural creature him/herself, but keeps it hidden from his/her partner. Maybe one of them is way too empathic and secretly allows some seemingly nicer creatures to get away or gets tricked into making a contract with one to fulfil a wish or something. Maybe they'll be pulled into something and have to stop the end of the world - whatever ideas you may have, I'm sure they'll fit in just fine.
I have various ideas for what to include. I don't have a gender preference for this, but I'd actually love if this could be either fxf or mxm - of course I'm willing to do mxf, as well, if you'd prefer that.
Pokémon-based [6/10]
Welcome to my childhood~ Pokémon Yellow was the second video game I ever owned and I'm still absolutely addicted to that series. It doesn't matter much to me if it's a roleplay about normal trainers and such, or if it's Mystery Dungeon or even Ranger based. I've played all games, save for the newest Mystery Dungeon part, so I'm familiar with all gen Pokémon and regions.
I don't have many ideas for plots here, but it's usually easy to figure things out for Pokémon. I don't have a gender or pairing preference for this one.
Skyrim/Oblivion based [7/10]
I love the games, but I'd really only do this one with a good plot. I should probably also mention that I usually don't roleplay any of the beast races - I have nothing against them, I just never actually actively used one of those in any of the four games of the series that I've played and I feel by far more comfortable using any of the other races. Of course you can use them if you wish to, they're pretty popular, after all.
I may have a vague plot idea or two here which we could work on together. I'd prefer to either play only a female character or a female and a male one if you want to play a female for this one. I have no pairing preference.
Any unique plots (literally any) [?/10]
Ah, I hear you groaning - what is a unique plot, after all? Well, I'm pretty much willing to try my hand at any kind of unusual plot. As long as it's not something I've mentioned in the section below about what I don't want to roleplay, feel free to just tell me any ideas you may have. As for what kind of plots I like, I'm fine with both realistic and fantasy worlds. I love darker themes, though. I just generally dislike roleplays that are just way too happy and bright. Other than that, I don't mind what you mix into it, adventure, survival, drama, horror, some romance... anything interesting goes.
{{ what i don't want to roleplay }}
I'll keep this short. I do not wish to roleplay anything mentioned on this list.
Animal roleplays, including things such as warriors.
I used to roleplay wolves and dogs, but I'm just really not into it anymore.
Pretty much anything about movies, TV shows, books, etc
All I ever watch movie wise are horror movies, I watch TV for maybe 12 hours... in a year and I barely ever see any books that would actually interest me anymore nowadays, so I guess it's obvious as to why I'm not interested in roleplays based on those. Simply because I heard about a lot of them, but never once felt the need to check any of them out.
Purely romance based roleplays
I like it if my roleplays have some romantic aspects... some, and only if it stays realistic. Sure, my character may think your character looks attractive, but they're not going to fall for him or her right away. Anything purely romance based is not my cup of tea, sorry.
Roleplays about most real people
There are a few real life people I ship and maybe would be willing to roleplay (PewdieCry is my guilty pleasure), but I generally don't roleplay any real people, be it band members, youtubers, other celebrities, etc.
Asylum based roleplays
Not all of my characters are completely sane. And let me assure you, I respect 'insane' people just as much as 'normal' ones - especially since I have a mental disorder myself. I just really don't see the point in roleplaying only characters who have a mental disorder locked away in a building.
Emo/Goth/Scene characters
None of my characters could really be considered any of the above and I'm not much into such characters, either. And no, I'm not trying to insult any real life people who consider themselves to be emo, goth or scene. It's their life and I respect their choices.
Illiterate roleplays
Sorry, but I just really can't stand a few measly lines (unless it's just a random crack roleplay, I do those a lot with friends). I understand if you don't have any muse for the roleplay and while I'm not too horribly picky about your posting length, I'd like for you to at least be able to write about one or two paragraphs at all times - there's always something you can describe, no matter if it's feelings, the environment or something entirely different like a flash back or something like that.
{{ PM ME IF YOU'RE INTERESTED, I DON'T BITE... MUCH. <3 }}
