Once, there were two packs populating the mountains of Iceland. Ragnok and Nifleim, good and evil. Remember, though, that in every light there is a dark, and in the dark there will forever be a light. Both packs could become human, but Nifleim could only transform during the night and Ragnok during the day. If a wolf stayed human outside of the times they could transform, (for example, if a Ragnok wolf stayed human after the sun set) they would be stuck as a human forever, and have their memories wiped. These half-human, half-wolves were shunned from the packs, because wolves look down on humans as ignorant, stupid creatures.

There is a large clearing in between the territories, belonging to no-one. Both packs have been looking to expand their territory onto the area for centuries, but have never made a move in fear of being attacked by the other pack. However, the winter hit extremely hard on both of the packs and they are in need of the area’s ample prey. So, in a desperate attempt to feed the pack, the alpha of Nifleim declared war. Both packs have lead attacks on the other in hopes of capturing the territory, and all have been in vain so far.
As packs are being worn thin while more and more members are lost to casualties from the war, their future is uncertain. Unless they can break the curse or find peace, they won’t last much longer...

I am considering starting a new group of kidnappers idea, however it's not going to be just the standard boring kidnapping plot, this will involve an organised group of evil creatures (Most likely modern witches/warlocks or something else maybe Vampires if not too cheesy) and they have grouped together in their small numbers to kidnap children/preteens in order to try toi convert them into their own kind.

A band, or herd of horses consists of a single stallion and a few mares and foals. Once a filly or colt becomes two years old, they are kicked out of their herd to prevent inbreeding.

Lead mares are not the stallion's favorite and are not chosen by the stallion. The lead mare is the most dominant mare, usually the oldest though younger mares can fight the lead mare for the position. Lead mares can push other mares and foals around, they get to drink first from water holes, lead the herd to new places and even kick out mares that they do not like.

Stallions mate with all or most mares in his herd once they come into heat, and the mare will give birth in 11 months to a single foal and even twins, though twins are extremely rare and will often die in the wild as they are weak and will need help to survive.

Horses are flight animals, stallions only fight if their herd is being threatened by another stallion. If there were a fire or wranglers and a horse was captured, another horse wouldn't go to the wrangler and fight them as they would be too cared to and would only be thinking about escaping.

Mares may even go into heat one week after their foals are born and are usually in heat during in Spring and Summer, sometimes Autumn and never winter.

A Bachelor is a stallion who does not have a herd and will often try to court and snake lone mares or mares from another herd. Stallions don't often start herds until they are at least 5, when they are strong enough to keep a few mares and will stay with other bachelors until they gain a mare.

Snaking is when a stallion lowers his head, pins his ears and runs behind the mares, sometimes nipping but is mostly just running close to them. This causes mares, foals, and sometimes even younger stallions to move in a certain direction and is used to bring a herd to another place or to steal mares from a herd. Mares always to go where the stallions want them to go and will hardly fight back, but when they do there is not much they can do since stallions are stronger and can usually get them to go to a certain area quickly and easily. This is used when moving their herd or bring a mare to the herd. Snaking is very normal and mares do not hate stallions for doing it.

Herds may consist from 1-6 mares but it is possible to have larger herds.

Lone horses cannot survive in the winter and must be with others, either in a herd or in a band of bachelor stallions

A mare has 4 stages of heat
0- Not interested in a stallion at all
1-Still not interested in a stallion
2-Slightly interested but will still fight
3-Interested but will fight if the stallion tries to hard
4-Very interested and will hardly fight against the stallion

Mares also come into season a week after giving birth and can be re-mated

When a new mare joins, the lead mare will sus her out and make sure she knows she's below her, then, the next dominant mare will do the same, then the next etc etc

Zebra Roleplay

Zebra populations are diverse, and the relationships between and the taxonomic status of several of the subspecies are not well known. Though Zebra species may have overlapping ranges, they do not interbreed. Zebras walk, trot, canter and gallop. They are generally slower than horses, but their great stamina helps them outpace predators. When chased, a Zebra will zigzag from side to side, making it difficult for the predator. When cornered, the Zebra will rear up and kick or bite its attacker.

It is believed that the stripes of the Zebra serve as a camouflage mechanism. The vertical striping helps the Zebra hide in grass. Though the grass is neither white nor black, it is supposed to be effective against the Zebra's main predator, the lion, which is color blind and when hunting a zebra, if it is with a herd, instead of seeing individuals, it sees a blob.. Zebras have excellent eyesight. Zebras also have night vision, although not as advanced as that of most of their predators. They have great hearing, which compensates for their sight. Zebras can turn their ears in almost any direction. In addition to eyesight and hearing, Zebras have an acute sense of smell and taste.

Zebras sleep standing up, and sleep only when other animals are around to warn them of predators. Zebras communicate with each other with high pitched barks and whinnying. When tense, they will also snort. Zebras are known to bark (or bray) loudly, when they spot or sense a predator.

Zebras are generally social animals, which can be seen in small harems to large herds, consisting of one stallion with up to six mares and their foals. Single Zebra males either live alone or with groups of other bachelors until they are old enough to challenge a breeding stallion.

Zebras are very adaptable grazers. They feed mainly on grasses but will also eat shrubs, herbs, twigs, leaves and bark. Their digestive systems allow them to subsist on diets of lower nutritional quality than that necessary for other herbivores.

Female Zebras mature earlier than the males, and a mare may have her first foal by the age of three. Males are not able to breed until the age of five or six. Mares may give birth to one foal every twelve months (7 RL days). She nurses the foal for up to a year. (2 RL weeks)



Zebras are most active in the early morning and late afternoon. They spend up to half of the daylight hours feeding. A
zebra can travel at a top speed of fifty five kilometers per hour, slower than a horse. However, it has much greater
stamina. During the course of a day the plains zebra can walk around forty kilometers (from its herd, and back again in the
evening.) Zebras are highly social and usually form small family groups consisting of a single stallion, one, two, or several
mares, and their recent offspring. Groups are permanent, and group size tends to vary with habitat: in poor country the
groups are small. From time to time, Plains Zebra families group together into large herds, both with one another and with
other grazing species, notably Blue Wildebeests.

Unlike many of the large ungulates of Africa, Plains Zebras prefer but do not require short grass to graze on. In
consequence, they range more widely than many other species, even into woodland, and they are often the first grazing
species to appear in a well vegetated area. Only after zebras have cropped and trampled the long grasses do wildebeests
and gazelles move in. Nevertheless, for protection from predators, Plains Zebras retreat into open areas with good
visibility at night time, and take it in turns standing watch. They eat a wide range of different



Herds
Herds of Zebra's are often seen in thousands, but, there are about 500 harems within the one massive herd. Stallions will fight with other stallions though but will not snake mares.

Mating Season

During Spring, Mares come into heat. Stallions will fight for mating rights, and if a stallion wins, he gets to mate with both his mares and the losers mares. The losers mares have the choice to leave the loser and join the winning stallion, or stay with the losing stallion, but they will have the winners foals come next spring.

Welcome to the Birdcraw Islands with a population of 57. These tiny islands are just off the eastern coast of the US - it's a shock that anyone even lives there. Most people inhabit Wrentail, where a lone town stands. With such a small population, it isn't surprising that the town holds only six teenagers. With no one else, they had no choice but to befriend each other. The group is quite close-knit, sticking together even during the school year when they go to the mainland schools. The mainland kids consider them weird, island dwellers. The six of them were even given their own nickname - 'the birds'. They're used to being teased, though most just ignore it. They had each other to rely on, and they didn't need anyone else.

But it gets boring on a small little island like that. The teens had heard a rumor that on Crowtip, a nearby island, there was a laboratory. It wasn't secret, but it still felt like an Area 51 to them. They asked around, but no one seemed to know what it was for. And those that did avoided talking about it. So the six teens took it to their own hands to figure out what was going on in there. One of the guys owned a small speedboat just large enough for them all to fit, and one night, they snuck onto the island and into the laboratory. It was a lot easier than they had imagined. They didn't know what they would find. Maybe some medicines, weapons, and stuff. But whatever each teen had suspected... It wasn't this.

There were dozens of cages in the main room. But one three of them were filled with... Animals, if you could really call them that. They were brightly colored, misshaped unlike anything they have ever seen before, yet they somehow looked familiar. Upon closer inspection, they realized why. Everyone had played the game, watched the show, or read the manga when they were younger. But in real life, they just looked so different. Even terrifying in some ways. Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, the original starters.They had stumbled across real, living, Pokemon. And they decided to break them out.

But now they have three wild Pokemon on their hands, with no idea whatsoever on how to take care or train them. And in addition, they have school and they have to hide them from everyone else. Also, they suspect that some mad scientist might be after them. It's too late to return the Pokemon to the laboratory. There's only one thing running though the minds of the teens - now what?

He had to trudge up into the mountainous forest, and just as he was giving up - on whatever he was searching for - as it shifted to leaf-bare and began to snow, he met a she-cat in the woods. She led him to a whole group of cats, shivering in the snow."
"These cats relied on eachother and yet, they couldn't trust eachother. Young and old, strong and weak, were all fighting the world alone. He could see they wanted to help the other, but they had to struggle just to make sure they had food. They almost always had to have their hackles raised, their claws unsheathed, their teeth bared just to pray to the stars that they didn't get attacked. Some of them were sick and dying, from infected wounds and lack of food."

They had a loyalty and love unspoken and hidden under their fight for each breath. And it gave Aspen an idea. What if he could bring them together, to help gather enough food for everyone each day. If the fighting stopped, leaving their love and loyalty to shine though the dirt they buried it under. His father had told him and his sibling stories of a Clan of cats that took care of eachother, and together formed an unstoppable force. And that's what they would do."
"As the Clan formed together, they found more cats wandering the forest and sent patrols to recruit kittypets and twolegplace cats at the foot of the mountain. They trained alongside one another, and set up borders to their land that they could protect and hunt in freely. Aspen appointed a deputy, and a kittypet who had a knack for helping the sick and wounded and a special connection with the stars was appointed as a medicine cat. Some cats that discovered the young Clan's existence were opposed, and sometimes they had to deal with fights. In one such fight, Aspen was hurt very badly. The medicine cat was able to keep him around, but thought that having him establish a connection with the StarClan would help keep him safe as leader. The cats of the StarClan declared him as a prodigy of their ways and dubbed him Aspenstar."

AspenClan is beginning to fall.
A new disease the cats are calling Crow-cough, due to the hacking and coughing symptom it gives it's victims, is sweeping through the Clan and killing many. Two cats have been given the Medicine cat's assistant positions, which mainly consists of finding infected cats, running herb patrols, and disposing of bodies killed by the disease. AspenClan's leader recently ran away and was found dead on the border, who had been hiding his Crow-cough, though only the new leader and medicine cat know of this information.
And on top of that, there are cats condensing in small camps just outside the borders, tormenting, harassing, and even fighting Clan cats on patrol near the border, injuring and killing the healthy cats. Many cats who are injured but survive encounters with them develop Crow-cough. Some cats do recover from the disease without dying, but there is no identified cure and survivors will remain with varying severities of lung problems. Some get away with things like not being able to hold their breath, discomfort, or being unable to run for long periods of time. Others can have loud, raspy breathing, are unable to do much, or are even forced into early retirements to the elder's den.

This "Master" hides among the shadows and creates a new type of vocaloid called shadowloids. Shadowloids are the exact replica of the original vocaloid but have the negative, dark personality. These shadowloids are full of strong negative energy which is very powerful. With the Masters new creations he plans to take down his original vocaloids and eliminate them and wipe them from their virtual world. One by one.
