Legends have been passed down through the centuries; tales of supernatural beings who could do almost anything. One story that many of us are familiar with, is the old tale of 'The Little Mermaid'. Hans Christian Andersen wrote this story in 1837, based off of a letter that he wrote to a friend names Collins, upon hearing of Collin’s engagement to a young woman.
This story is one of many stories, or accounts, of beings who were part human, part fish. All over the earth, if you search diligently, you may be able to find different myths of creatures who reside in nearby oceans. I must tell you, these accounts are true. Mermaids and mermen exist. Many people have just gotten glimpses of these elusive humanoids, but in truth, they do not wish to be found. They are well aware that humans are searching for them, so they leave clues and hints all over. The clues and such are, of course, there to throw the clumsy land-beings off of the real trail that would lead them to the Underlands.
Our story revolves around two families: the Silverfins and the Copperscales. Do you care to travel down into the dark recesses of the ocean and become part of their story?
