he stands at a 'feeble' five foot and seven inches, and weighs one hundred and thirty three pounds. grey has, ironically in comparison to his name, a thick mop of dark brown hair. it's streaked with black, though, and it's longer than most boys' hair. in particular, its length exceeds at the back, but falls just over his eyes. speaking of his eyes, grey has precariously positioned brown, large eyes and long eyelashes. his skin complexion is next - it used to be a pale, vampyrish colour, and overly smooth to the touch, but now it's a tannish tone, with bumps and lumps left-right-and-centre. grey has three tattoos, and no piercings: one of them is an anchor on his wrist, because his father - who was a sailor - died to the ocean. the second is a quote, located on his upper back. lastly, is the quote on his left arm [like in the position of the first picture].

honest: unlike most people, grey can say "i've never lied" and be telling the greatest truth in that sentence. most people don't believe him, and if you don't... you obviously have no faith in the human race. there have been many opportunities for grey to lie to get himself out of trouble, but he never lies, no matter how gullible or naive the other people are... no matter how much he needs to lie, he just won't.
quiet/shy: he doesn't talk much, this "grey" boy. preferring to keep to himself, he talks with a stutter or a pause after every word - he's never quite sure if he says the right thing or not. he tends to stay quiet for a few reasons - grey pretty much lives by the phrase: "if you don't say anything, you can't say anything wrong." he also fears that people will take the mick out of him because he has an irish - from his father and living in letterkenny (ireland) for seven years of his life - and english - from being born in woolacombe (england) - accent. but, obviously, he doesn't class it as an accent - one wouldn't say "i have a such-and-such accent", instead saying "you have an accent". grey also stays quiet because speaking means talking to people, and they'd most likely become friends... grey doesn't want to open up to anybody because he used to fear his father was killed because of his [grey's] doings.
hidden actor: behind his shy outer shell, grey is talented at one thing - acting. but, of course, he never lets anybody find out because then he'd have to disperse out of his comfort zone and.. well, act. [it's not lying, because he never says "i can't act", in case you tried to find a loop-hole, anyone. he just acts like he can't act c;] so, in drama class, grey always hunches over as he does in every-day-highschool-life, and mumbles his lines.
average intelligence: grey isn't overly smart, nor stupid. but, he excels in maths [in england, "math" is plural :P], but lags behind in the sciences, technology and physical education/most 'school' sports. but, grey can cycle and play tennis as his sporting fortes.
everything else: grey has a tendency to get snappy at people when he's upset, angry or feeling insignificant. he'll just yell endless nothings at them and then walk off, most likely crying. he also has a tendency to curse and listen to music - he loves music, movies, plays, painting, fruits, reading, aviation, anything of the sort - whilst ignoring everybody else for the mentioned things. he dislikes silence, snakes, medicine, alcohol, being the centre of attention, reading in class, being made to answer questions aloud in class, people who think he is inept at everything, cake, most sweets/candy, bright lights, and people who treat him like he can speak "normally". he also has two kittens - hudson, the male and sterling, the female - as well as des, a male budgie.
