Image/Description:
Image
Name:
Creambird
Gender:
She-cat
Clan:
I'm planning to use her in several roleplays, and therefore several different clans :3
Rank:
Warrior
Personality/Skills:
A good climber, with strong leg muscles, making her a fast runner as well. She enjoys sitting at the tops of trees, watching the clouds. Kind, but very strong, and she will not hesitate to fight if it means saving any of her clan mates, or even an innocent cat from a different clan.
Important Notes:
She is a part maine coon cat, with several other long-haired cats in her pedigree. She was born a loner, but left her mother, father, and siblings to join a clan. Her original name was Squirrel, because she always loved to be up high in the oaks around her rouge family's home. Also, if you know any cream coloured bird species that might work in her name, please let me know, as I'm not quite sure if "Creambird" is the best possible name.

Don't worry about it. I've got nothing else to do this morning, and these are nice and short. It's always a nice break to simply review names that only need minor tweaks here and there.

Willowstripe
Rate: 8/10
Type: Traditional
Reasoning: Willow- generally means a grey or grey-brown cat, after the color of the bark. Since she's a light brown, the prefix doesn't work much. Her suffix is just fine, though.
Alternative Name: Barleystripe/Honeystripe. Both prefixes reference a light brown cat, and her suffix stays as it is.

Silverfang
Rate: 8/10
Type: Traditional
Reasoning: I'm not sure if he's actually good at battling, or just someone who tends to fight easily. Either way, -fang wouldn't work for him, mostly because he doesn't seem to be an equally good hunter. I'll make an assumption here that he's a good fighter, if he's happy to battle, and leave his prefix as is, since it works.
Alternative Name: Silverclaw, for the reasons above. If he's just average at fighting, use -pelt/-fur instead.

Blizzardclaw
Rate: 10/10
Type: Traditional
Reasoning: If he's white and grey patched, I'd have to suggest a different name, but he seems to be a regular light grey tabby, so the name's perfect for him.
Alternative Name: In case he is indeed a patched cat, Shrikeclaw/Patchclaw.

Icestorm
Rate: 3/10
Type: Misplaced Traditional
Reasoning: Ice- refers, generally, to an all white cat, rather than a ginger and white one. He doesn't seem to have wild mood swings, either, so -storm doesn't work either. While he isn't completely outstanding in hunting, he is notably good at it, so I think we can use -whisker for him.
I'm going to assume that hes a patched cat here, and if he isn't, please let me know.
Alternative Name: Mottlewhisker/Poplarwhisker. Sadly, ginger-and-white patched cats are absurdly difficult to name, so these are the best ones I could find. Poplar- refers to a golden-and-white cat, and Mottle- refers to a patched cat, especially one with irregular patching.

Harefoot
Rate: 10/10
Type: Traditional
Reasoning: Harefoot works perfectly for her (Hare-'s always been a prefix I'm fond of, anyway). Coincidental for her, I'm sure (fast as a hare, haha), but her parents must have been excited that the name worked out with her skill.
Alternative Name: None!

Dappledtail
Rate: 10/10
Type: Traditional
Reasoning: For some reason it's specified as Dapple- rather than Dappled- on the traditionalism blog, but it's such a tiny difference I can't be bothered with it anymore. Anyway, the name works out great, though my only question is if she's actually very good at racing/climbing, or if she just likes to do it.
Alternative Name: If she's not particularly skilled at climbing, stick with -pelt/-fur/-foot (if she's very fast).

Stormwhisker
Rate: 6/10
Type: Traditional
Reasoning: Storm- specifies a dark grey cat, rather than a black one, and since he isn't a hunter, we can knock off -whisker. Also, if you want a suggestion on eyes, stick with yellow. Lord knows there are enough blue-eyed ones. A realistic, common eye color is absolutely wonderful to see.
Alternative Name: Beetlefur/Ratpelt/Shadefur. I suggested three since the first two aren't exactly popular (I have never met someone with a cat called Rat-), but all three reference a black cat. Since he has no outstanding skills or personality, he gets -pelt or -fur.

I'm sorry, I'm just playing "Free Bird" in my head but replacing free with cream. It's a stupidly entertaining experience.

Name Rating: 6/10
Name Type: Creative
Name Reasoning: Cream isn't something the cats are aware of, and since the name comes from the food itself, it wouldn't hold water under scrutiny. -bird falls under the same category as -wing or -feather, in that it's not something the cats are or have, and there are suffixes describing whatever the name wants to.
Most cream cats fall under the light golden spectrum of naming, just so you know, so this will be fairly simple. And since she is a good climber, we can use that as well.
I'm starting to think there should be a suffix for those who are equally fast and climbers, because they seem to go hand in hand.
Alternative Name: Larchtail/Lionfoot (suffixes depending on which she's better at). Both prefixes cover a light golden cat (Larch- is more brownish, but you did ask for a bird prefix and this was the best one I could find), and -tail means a great climber, while -foot means a very fast cat.

Character Rating: 10/10
Character Reasoning: Overall, I can't see any real issues. I'm imagining that she's a pretty tall cat, and combined with that fluff on her neck in the picture she might look huge (hence my suggestion of Lion-). Nothing conflicts or seems off, so well done to you.

Name: Darkpaw (Can you suggest a warrior name, please?)
Description: Darkpaw is a lithe black she-cat with an irregular patch of grey on her tail. She has amber eyes, and long legs and tail.
Important Notes: Darkpaw is extremely good at hunting and fighting, but hates climbing and swimming.

Name: Cloudpool(This is my friends cat, and she wanted me to review it for her. Thanks! ^^)
Description: Cloudpool is grey with lighter stripes and green eyes.
Important Notes: Cloudpool is a great climber and swimmer, being Darkpaw's mentor, and she is average at hunting.

Well, Brown- is always an option, as is Yellow- depending on how golden this cat is. For a golden brown to light brown cat, we have (inhales) Acorn-, Bee-, Carp-, Dust-, Fallow-, Fawn-, Hazel-, Hare-, Honey-, Larch-, Lion-, Lizard-, Mink-, Nightingale-, Oat-, Reed-, Rudd-, Rush-, Rye-, and Tawny-.

Thank God there's so many golden-brown prefixes to choose from, eh?

Well, now that someone mentiones it, I could really use a prefix tip for a torotiseshell and a black-and-white cat, if you don't mind. They are more difficult, right?
