Nadine was originally bought for the sole
purpose of light weight trail riding. The
type of thing humans do once at their
wedding for the photos. She lead a simple
life. Later on she was sold to a small
family as a mare and was used by a
younger child for learning how to ride.
However a storm hit, a tornado and
the humans who owned her had little
in the way of a barn or shelter. The
fence around her pasture was destoryed
and she got spooked by the crack of
thunder and escaped. She quickly
found herself in a herd far out in the
plains and fell pregnant with her
first foal. The stallion was young and
dumb, she left the herd as the stallion
clearly couldn't provide protection.

Despite being gentle Nadine and high strung
and feisty. She's a force to be reckoned
with and doesn't bode well with pushy
stallions. She'll give out one warning
and afterwards a swift kick with surprising
accuracy. If treated well the mare offers
a more gentle and nurturing side while
still maintaining her composure. She's
easily spooked sometimes if caught of
guard. She's extremely protective of her
foal, Juliette and tends to get aggressive
quickly with those who get too close to
her precious little foal.

Nadine stands at 14.3 hands and appears
more like a halter/hunter type than
the stock Quarter horse. She's bay in
coloration with a star and interrupted
stripe, 3 socks and a pastern.

Juliette has had a serene and peacful
life thus far. Despite being hectic at times
as her mother, Nadine is the only protection
Juliette has from anything Nature throws
at them she's remained safely at her
mothers side, tucked away out of harm's
way. She's just started to nibble on grass.

Juliette is feisty and vivacious. She's
playful and a ball of mischeif often
nipping at her mother's sides and
running about in the fields. She's
getting ready for the school of hard
knocks and she slowly starting to test
her boundaries with her mum. Julie
is also VERY vocal and no mater what
she is doing will let out whinnies,
squeals, neighs, and any other sound
that she can. Like her mother she's
easily spooked and when she isn't
running circles around Nadine she's
likely sleeping or hiding behind Nadine
sheepishly and out of view. When she
grows into an adult she'd likely be
very independent and remain her
same, youthful feistyness. She's will
be by no means a controllable mare
and will become a force to be reckoned
with. Likely more dominate than some.

Juliette stands at a mere 7.7 hands
with spindly legs. She's already proven
that she's nearly a copy paste of
Nadine in the fact that she's a bay with
a small star on her forehead. She lacks
socks on any of her feet.

Hi all! Sorry for being offline for the weekend - I said I'd stay away from being online while I prepped for the work week <.>

So, I've had to change a number of my images, particularly for my girls (curse my eagerness to get images!) so some of their appearances have changed a little, just as a heads up! I tried to get images as close to the original as I could, but using those that are free-to-use, so apologies for the quality of some of the images!
