Jedediah was born and raised in Armenia, specifically the lakeside town of Sevan based in the Gegharkunik Province. His mother, Lasia, was a conservationist at the Botanical garden located in the national park and his father Dragan was based in a Law company in Boston. Jeds parents separated when he was three years old due to to irreconcilable differences however have always kept in contact for the sake of their only son.
Whilst growing up his mothers knowledge of flora and fauna intrigued Jed from a young age and became a foundation for his medical education years down the line.
His childhood went without drama and he appreciates the life his parents gifted to him and keeps in constant contact with them both.
Armansky began studying aged eighteen at Yerevan State Medical University, gaining his medical doctorate and spent six years specialising in Orthopaedics and Traumatology alongside Anaesthesiology and Reanimatology. His scientific and medical prowess mixed with his botanical and herbal expertise makes him comparable to a walking medicinal library, constantly storing flora and fauna with medical qualities in his office for quick access.
He left the University as a full graduate aged twenty eight and left for America with the wishes of his mother to join the Starfleet Academy. Since joining he has been on two small scale explorations as an apprentice nurse, ranking up to head nurse after his last mission. Jed currently resides in a single bedroom flat in downtown San Francisco, its basic and full of books and papers, plus jars and pressings of botanical objects.

Personality wise he is known for his calm demeanour and ability to explain in the most complicated way possible. Mature for his age and overly friendly he is generally liked by all, strict where he needs to be and stern towards those who question his authority he holds a position of power that demand and creates respect.
His only real weakness is his ability to create perfection in every work of life, whether it be study or surgical procedures, he strives for the best result and this can often lead to bouts of rage and angst.
Jedediah stands around six foot, slim athletic build with pale alabaster skin, dusty blonde hair with stubble, grey-blue eyes and pointed facial features with light brown freckling over the bridge of his nose. Often found wearing custom fitted shirts and oversized jumpers with well fitted, ankle grazer jeans or trousers in neutral colours when out of uniform as well as being cooped up in his office studying in his spare time, sporting a pair of square framed black glasses.

Respected, rare and reliable. Jed holds a high opinion of his captian, she regularly continues to impress and astound him with her capabilities and he heeds her words and orders to the last letter. His loyalty is gained through his trust and admiration of her, not just skill wise but personality wise also.
She provides a positive outlook on the ships workings and staffs well-beings meaning that he can continues his job properly and efficiently without having to load stress and worries on one shoulder whilst trying to deal with his employment on the other.

Francis Lothbrok

Intriguing, inspiring and impulsive. As Jeds senior commander he respects the boundaries of friendship in the work place however is impressed by the young mans ability to keep his calm in such a high rank when stress levels are high during emergencies. From previous reports it has stated that Francis's medical capabilities are on par with his own, even though he is not fond of admitting it. The mans intelligence and ambition are a lot to be desired and Jed personally sees him as a younger version of himself.

Andrea Mei Yu

Outspoken, obstinate and open. Jed has had little interaction with Andrea, however from what he has heard she is a key member to the team. He admires her honesty and ability to be blunt and prefers people to be that way, especially towards his work and research. They share the sense of striving for perfection and therefore he can relate to her stresses and woes.

⊙ Personality: Harlan Wethern is a security officer that didn't truly mean to end up in the current position he's in. Enlisting into the Academy at 20, he actually took many courses regarding the sciences and cellular biology, rather than anything having to do with military training. He had taken the basics required to graduate, but did not feel like pursing it any further. However, the courses ended up getting too advanced for him to pursue, and landed in a position where he had little options. Switching to something having more to do with basic operations on a starship rather than the sciences, he ended up graduating from the Academy at 24; surprisingly, on-time. Harlan still feels like he would later pursue the sciences once again, but he does take his current position with pride, and desperately hopes he will do everything correctly. Recently assigned to the Enterprise, he hopes to do well, and advance. As long as he follows orders, there shouldn't be any problems.

- Astrid Henley [+]
Being the Captain of the Enterprise, of course, Harlan will treat her with the utmost respect. From what he's heard, she's extremely intelligent, from how young she is as a Captain. Not only this, but he's heard about what she majored in at the Academy, and needless to say, he's impressed. He feels that he can put a considerable amount of faith in her.

- Francis Lothbrook [=]
Chief Medical Officer, and pretty confident in what he does; Harlan can definitely see these are good qualities to have. However, he's not too involved in the medical field and pursued more biological science than medical, so he doesn't know much else about him; especially considering he is in science while Harlan is in operations. He's sure there will be no problems with him, and remains neutral.

- Andrea Mei Yu [=]
Self-reliant and blunt, Harlan can surely say those are good qualities to have on a ship. A Communications Officer is something that Harlan could have never been, and he understands it is plenty of work. Other than that, though, he knows little about her; but hopes that will eventually change.

- Dakota Conway [=]
An ensign and navigator, Harlan doesn't know much about Dakota. He's heard mostly good things around, however, and is good to hear it. Kind is nice, but he does hope she can hold her own as navigator. He hasn't heard anything about her being incapable of what she does, though, so she should do well.

- Sung-Hyun Park [+]
Expressive is definitely something that is important to Harlan, and Sung-Hyun is all about it. Someone that is very upbeat about what he does and jumps in to what he does is something that intrigues him. Hopefully it won't interfere with his actual job, but Harlan thinks Sung-Hyun can manage; hopefully.

- Satekhau T’Kerik [=]
Since the fall of Vulcan, Harlan has rarely seen the species around. Although Satek is ¾ Vulcan, it still leaves him curious. However, he has heard that he embraces his culture fairly well, and follows logic on most occasions than less. Harlan admires this, since logical is always a good trait to have on a ship, but he feels uncertain about how to actually start a conversation. Harlan feels that he may be wasting Satek's time.

- Venus Jones [=]
While Venus does seem successful, especially considering her age, Harlan is concerned about how she will be on the Enterprise. Cocky is a worrisome thing to be, and recklessness can get people killed; or make his job more difficult. He just hopes that she won't be too much of an issue on the five-year mission.

- Evangeline Crowley [+]
Evageline had also followed the sciences, and in something similar to his own; bio-chemistry! Harlan definitely finds himself fascinated, since they have things in common. She also switched from the sciences to something different, which he hasn't heard about recently. He hopes they can eventually be friends when she's not working, and to talk about biology with her if he can.

- Jedediah Armansky [=]
A mature and orderly nurse seems like a good thing to Harlan, and has nothing against him at all. He seems extremely calm, which is respectable. Harlan hasn't seen him before, or heard much else about him, unfortunately. Harlan is sure he will see him around, though.
