how about riverwish, rainpaw & bearthorn? it could go like litter 1- alderstar, litter 2- bearthorn & riverwish, and then rainpaw in a third litter. of course, bearthorn & riverwish would have to be the same age but they're super close.

okay, so whiteheart and thistleheart tied?? i'm going to write down cons and pros and choose for myself, relatively alderstar choosing.

pros of whiteheart: older than thistleheart (approx. one year); more experience.

born in-clan.
father was deputy.
serious with role.
caring.
male; offspring won't result in distraction of duty.

cons of whiteheart: older, though one year may be more frail.

as shown in history, susceptible to death harshly.
not sociable.

pros of thistleheart: younger than whiteheart, more energetic.

positive.
overprotective.
seems to have multiple friends due to personality.

cons of thistleheart: younger than whiteheart, less experience

curiosity often leads to downfall.
siblings left, trust issues?
overprotection can cause issues.
female; offspring may get in the way of duty.
crush may interfere with her leadership.

in the end, whiteheart has more pros than thistleheart; and thistleheart has more cons. so, whiteheart will be our deputy! i hope none of you are hurt by the choice, i made it as fair as i could.

Despite this and his sarcastic personality, he handles everything seriously when needed and still manages to cheer everyone up.
