owards others, and rational in times of stress. Gus wants to be an ultra optimistic person, but tends to be more of a re
alist. Most of the time, he's pretty good about weighing the
pro's and con's of situations and thinking about all outcomes (key words, 'most of the time.') That being said, he does hav
e problems with becoming too detached from the world. It's easy for him to get lost in his head. This is most of the time caused by high stress situations, but sometimes Gus is just simply caught in his own daydreams. You could have a full conversation without him actually hearing anything you said.

Due to his shyness, he sometimes comes off as flaky or skittish. It's not that he's trying to be rude, that's the last
'--thing he'd want to be seen as, sometimes the pressure just becomes too much for him. Augustus takes on a lot of
hobbies, and finds himself trying to do more than he'd ever be capable of. He's a strong believer in wanting to try
everything at least once in his life. Something he's always been interested in since he was little was animals, so
initially when he discovered the ability to turn into them at a young age it was the most amazing thing to ever
happen. It wasn't until his parents became horrified and abandoned him that he felt like a monster, and a
mistake. A part of him is spiteful towards his parents, but at the same time, a part of him understands. Being
able to shift into other living beings was the only reason he survived, and despite the turmoil it caused in his
life, he's grateful for it in a way. As long as he doesn't use too much energy shifting, his powers won't become
a problem.
