firefly - oh, no that makes sense. i could certainly see some cats wanting to be all brave and volunteer to check out the ocean by swimming out and ending up getting pulled by the tide and such and not being able to return. it would indeed make for a good incentive to a 'no ocean' rule!

Alright then, cats dying in the ocean is settled then. Who should die in the ocean specifically though? Ideally it would be the most brave cats/the best at swimming that would be confident enough to try swimming in the ocean.

It looks like Mistyclaw is sick, so she should die on the journey...

@firefly - for some reason i feel like gingerheart would have been one to volunteer...he seemed to me like one who would want to prove himself like that. other than that though i dunno with popcorn's cats

lightheart definitely would be up to it. he wasn't the best swimmer but he was always plenty willing to risk his safety for the well being of the clan

Yup, GingerPelt was the best. But now Gingerheart is ded. Rip Gingerheart.

Yeah, Gingerheart seems pretty fitting. So that means so far we have Gingerheart and Lightheart to die in the ocean, and two cats would definitely be enough for a no swimming rule. We could always add more though.
Looking back on it there's gonna be a looot of grieving. This should be fun.
