He might be younger- but the younger, the more active and faster he is. XP
And since Jericho is much bigger, he might be slower than Mark. XD
Also, just because he's injured, down't mean he can't defend. He walked through water- which cleaned his wound, used a plant to sort of help out his wounds and he's already feeling better. c;

But no seriously. He's so sneaky Jericho might not even be able to keep up. XD

Mark's injury will definitely drag him down quite a bit. Even if he is feeling better, he's not completely healed. Even the most experienced and fit stallions lose mares when they are injured, but he could maybe distract at least.

Jericho is also much bigger than Mark. Hate to see such a sweet lil guy get beat up, but it's bound to happen. And Jericho will probably take Rizzo too.

Yes, you guys are thinking about him getting beaten up because of his size. You guys are judging by size.
Mark is younger and much lighter- therefore, he is much faster and flexible.

Both have advantages and disadvantages.
E.g. since Jericho is much heavier, he will be much slower. But since he is bigger, he will be a bit stronger.
Age doesn't have to do much with anything- if we look at it this way: Age doesn't matter much. Everyone has their
own strength.
For example: If a shire and a thoroughbred were to fight- there still might be a chance the thoroughbred might win.
If they are fast enough, they might have the chance to kick the shire a couple of times. Since the shire is slower- it will
get kicked and might make things a bit harder. But if the shire might manage to kick the thoroughbred a couple of times,
then that would be enough to hurt it. However, if the thoroughbred kicks the shire a lot of times and is fast enough to
dodge the kicks given by the shire, the thoroughbred might win.
Get what i'm saying?
