✿personality; Nellie is an old soul. She's very soft spoken, and hardly ever raises her voice. She keeps to herself most of the time and is a bit introverted, but warms up very quickly if someone else initiates an interaction. She loves to laugh and make people laugh. She trys her best to help others in an amost maternal fashion, but hardly ever recognizes when she needs help herself. On the stage, she can completely embody a character, and often traits of whatever role she's playing will slip into her interpersonal interactions. She's very creatve-minded but struggles with STEM type skills. She almost always has an opinion on something, but is reluctant to speak up for fear of being bossy.
✿history; Nellie was born in Ashland, Oregon to Chen and Liling Zhao. She was exposed to theatre at an early age through the yearly summer Shakespeare festival held in her hometown and soon grew to love it. She went to a series of small town schools, earning average grades, and moved to San Diego to get a theater major at UCSD. When she learned they had a specialized Shakespeare program, she was delighted. Her first ever major role was Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew through this program. She has as of this point left San Diego in favor of Hollywood, where she dreams of making it big and meeting new people. She would have gone to NYC to make it on Broadway, but...she doesn't quite have the money yet.
