Freya is a Rocky Mountain horse and is within the average for horses of her breed. Being neither the tallest nor the shortest out on these plains she stands at 15.4 hands. Despite this Freya seems to veer slightly off the normal for her breed, be this due to muddied blood or simple genetics she has a more slender shape than most, she's more leg than much else. This mare weighs in at around 996 pounds but don't let her measly weight fool you, she's a powerhouse of muscle. Despite her small shape she's very lean and well toned from a life on the plains. She's a silver black dapple on a grulla base coat and a long, silky white mane and tail. She has a stripe, sock (bl), and a pastern on her other hooves.

Having grown up on the plains much of her life Freya is one mare that understands herd politics and mentality with ease. She's a very dominate mare that isn't afraid to stand her ground- even to a stallion. She's an incredibly wise mare and often finds better ways to do things than some might think- she's resourceful and tends to think outside of the box. Due to her vast years of experience in the wilderness she's well equip to handle problems she faces within a few sparse seconds. Upon first meeting Freya puts up a strong front and she exudes a demand for respect. She's a no nonsense mare once an individual reaches a certain age and will not tolerate any horse that puts another in danger- she isn't afraid to go after another horse, mare or stallion alike and teach them a lesson if she must. Despite this Freya is remarkably patient with foals and even yearlings- often letting them play and frolic under a watchful eye. She makes for a loving mare and even more loving mother, her devotion to her foal reaches no end- her loyalty to a stallion is unbreakable once they've gained her trust though she is by no means an easy catch. Deep down Freya has a tender and gentle side that is often only shown when she feels safe and protected, and even then it's often only shown to her foals and rarely a stallion she is in a herd with in moments of tenderness.

Freya was born to a mare who she only recalls the name as being something along the
lines of Nerthus. Her sire was Njord who she again, remembers little of. She was born wild,
the 3rd generation of wild horses from her bloodline actually. Due to her seemingly wild
upbringing and the fact being free was all her dam, and herd knew she has never been
touched by the hands of a human. When Freya reached reproductive maturity she knew
it was time to leave her herd in search of a new life. Freya has mothered 4 foals so far.
2 of her foals suffered untimely deaths and the whereabouts of her others are unknown.
She is now expecting her 5th foal whom's sire went missing several months ago.

farasha's I'm not entirely certain about, but I've never come across a version with a watermark. I'll see if I can find an image to replace it but if not I'll just wait and see what the mods say.
