Word description of apperence:
- Ellie has feathery black hair cut in choppy layers around her shoulders. It's short enough so as not to be a hassle when it's loose, but long enough to be pulled back easily, albeit with a few loose strands. She's about five feet and eight inches tall, weighing only 110 pounds. Her face is covered in freckles that fade only slightly in the winter. Her eyes lack the piercing color that is typically associated with children of Zeus, instead retaining a color that is vaguely reminiscent of rain. Her limbs are all angles and no curves, and she always appears to be ready to flee or fight at a moment's notice. One of her most obvious features is her limp. It's quite pronounced when she moves, although her grace is enough to compensate for it, though just barely. Still, she struggles with running or walking long distances.

- She can conduct electricity into metals---for example, her baseball bat. When she's emotional, the air will sometimes feel heavy, as if a storm is brewing, but it's rare for there to be a real storm.

Personality:
- Ellie tends to be pretty hardcore about training. She's not as talented at many of the subjects, but she makes up for it with her dedication. She's certainly not a nerdy type, though. Like most demigods, she suffers from dyslexia and ADHD, especially the latter. A simple sound or movement can completely reroute her attention, and she never stops moving, whether it's biting her finger, playing with the hem of her shirt, or pulling up blades of grass. She also overreacts to the slightest motion, flinching when someone raises their hand for a high five or to pat her on the back. In general, she's not s fsn of physical contact. Lastly, she has a volatile temper and doesn't stand for any form of bullying. Anything she perceives as unfairness will likely result in a yelling rant for a solid ten minutes.
History:
- Ellie's mother was only 19 when she gave birth to her. Her mother's name was Jane, and she was a top student in nursing school. Unfortunately, after she gave birth and couldn't identify the father of the baby, she lost much of her credibility. Not only that, but she fell far behind in her studies and was forced to drop out. Rather than blame herself or even the father of her baby, she blamed the child---Ellie. They lived in a grimy one room apartment. Whenever Ellie stepped out of line, Jane would beat her. It was when she was eleven that Jane was so angry, she beat Ellie with a golf club. Her entire body was damaged, but her leg bore the brunt of it. It was broken so badly that it never healed properly, thus her limp. Most people assume that she limps from a monster attack, and she lets them. She'd rather not speak of her mother. The only bright spot in Ellie's life was her step-father, Jacob. She never did understand why he loved her mother, but he did. When she asked, he simply responded, "I love her because she is deeply unhappy, but beneath that unhappiness there is a wonderful woman, and I am willing to devote my life to finding her". He taught her to play baseball and gave her the baseball bat she carries to this day. When she was fifteen, the monster attacks increased in frequency until she was certain she was insane. She was the only one who saw the monsters, the things thst followed her in the dark. So when a satyr offered to take her somewhere safe, she didn't give a single thought as to whether it was a good idea. She went with him and found herself at Camp Half-Blood.
