— snow control ; rhyleigh is able to, normally, make light little snow fall when she wants. if she’s not experience an extreme emotion, she can’t go past a light snow fall. she can cause it to snow in one small area, like in a room for the kids to play in, etc. however, if she’s experiencing an extreme emotion like fear or anger, she could very well cause a massive blizzard that is impossible to see through. unless it has the correct conditions, the snow will not stick to the ground or pile up.

— history ; (trigger warning: homophobia) rhyleigh was born into a rich family, her mother being a state senator and her father being a wealthy businessman. she had a very posh life up until she turned 10, and not for the reason you might think. yes, she was disowned, but not for her powers. she had gotten a “girlfriend” (who was hardly even a girlfriend), and her parents, being very far right conservatives didn’t want that to “ruin their image”, so they told the public she was a mutant to save themselves “embarrassment”. after the public was told she was mutant, she was shunned and castaway, only for the lost kids to take her in. by then, she had started to develop a power and she felt genuinely accepted there. now she is 17, and quite enjoys the lost kids.
