Sorcha was born in a little town in the Republic of Ireland. Her parents were very traditional
and they raised a very busy household, alongside Sorcha were three sisters and two twin
brothers who were a bit of a handful. Sorcha had always been considered a disappointment
to her parents, she tried her best to make them happy but no matter what she did, it was
never quite good enough. They never physically harmed her, but they always made it clear
with the way that they would 'forget' her birthdays or accommodate her siblings needs before
her own. Despite this, Sorcha did not resent her siblings, she was glad to have them as they
were the only thing that kept her at home. As Sorcha grew older, her parents started to
become even more strict in their attitude toward her and the way she dressed and behaved
when going out in public, she tried to pass it off as parental concern but their anger always
seemed to be an overreaction. Sorcha went off to university in Dublin as quickly as she could.

When Sorcha was twenty three, she had been out in the town with some friends enjoying a
rare night where she was actually allowed out. She'd had a bit to drink but was by no means
drunk, when she got home she was met with the sight of her parents sitting with stern
expressions at the kitchen table. They questioned where she'd been and then lost their
tempers when they'd smelt alcohol on her breath, her father had lashed out and hit her in
his rage and then Sorcha saw red. The next thing she knew, her father was standing in front
of her screaming with his hand clutched to his chest and her mother was screaming and
shoving her into their cellar, locking the door behind her. She later found out that she had
shifted into her fox form and bitten her father's hand. After this, her parents thought she
was cursed and so they starved and lashed her to cleanse her. After a couple of days of this,
they finally decided to release her and cast her out of the house. Turning their backs on
her and leaving her to the wild. Sorcha travelled towards Dublin with views of getting
away from the country completely. She was lucky on her travels that she met some kindly
people who took her in and gave her food and shelter. She was able to keep her wounds
clean and so they eventually healed, but Sorcha's back has been left covered in scars.
Sorcha has tried to maintain her optimistic attitude but she cannot help but be a little
distrustful of others. One day whilst searching for information about fox shifters online,
she came across a mention of Fox Island in Canada, she used the little money she had
left to buy herself a ticket and off she went, seeking a refuge among people like her.

Kenna was born in British Columbia to two Cuban immigrants, two young parents who spent countless hours working to pay off their bills and manage a life for their kids.
The reason for their travels to North America is murky. The Caballero family wasn't new to the concept of shifting; in fact, it had occurred within their family tree, as if
it was part of their genetics that sprouted in some and died in others.Not wanting to take the chance of exposing their children to these family members, the ones deemed
"freaks", they had made the decision to start a life elsewhere. Unfortunately, it was harder to escape than they imagined. Kenna was the one blessed - or perhaps cursed -
with this gene, an unknown fact until she was in her tween years, when she had gotten stuck up in the tree tops whilst doing a high-ropes course with her siblings. That
moment had been a blur: with a snap of the rope and a scream, Kenna, to this day, can confidently say she has no memory of what occurred between the moment the rope
broke and when she found herself on the ground.Her siblings say otherwise, and she's heard the story enough times to accept the truth: in a panicked flurry, her body had
disappeared amongst the arrays of greenery, only to reappear at the base of a tree in the form of an American marten. That said, her parents chose not to believe it, and
Kenna wasn't able to trigger this for quite a few more years.xxThey lived in a location far enough away to know of Fox Island, but never received knowledge of much other
than the fact that it was a small town whose population was so small that they were only really known for their good fishing and beautiful forestry. And it remained that
way until a friendship blossomed between Kenna and a resident from Fox Island. Something about the connection was enough to spark that shifting trait in Kenna again,
and at first, it was out of control. For her sake, an agreement was made for her to join the members on Fox Island. Kenna later concluded her parents wanted little to
do with her;she had become yet another freak of the family.Life was better moving forward, feeling as if she truly did belong in the group that had taken her in.Of course,
that hasn't stopped her from wondering every now and then how her family has been holding up.

his mother is a famous designer from wales, and his father is a
small recreational crossfit trainer. basically raised by his pops

his son; training him in both muscle work and mental physicality

She often dresses formally looking very put together a holdover from her wealthy upbringing. Her sense of style however is quite modest she'll often wear sweaters, button-downs or long sleeved blouses, with slacks or a skirt whenever she's out hiking she'll wear more casual athletic clothing.


𝒫𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓎: Much like her shifter form Victoria is solitary and withdrawn preferring to observe things from afar rather than get up close. Her quiet introspective nature and strict upbringing have made her a very private person. Her seemingly aloof appearance is not helped by the serious expression she often wears. She has struggled with forming relationships with other people and this led to her developing social anxiety. Despite this Victoria is always willing to help people whenever she can. Vic's door is always open for anyone who wants a cup of tea and someone who'll listen to them. Always willing to offer advice, despite being a very rational person she is not devoid of emotion quite the opposite she's incredibly empathetic and kind, always willing to hear someone out before coming to her conclusions. Victoria has a deep passion for the things she likes, she adores reading and learning, especially history. She has even written a few children's books about mythology and folklore under the pen name Vick Bennet, with illustrations by her sister. Vic has an adventurous spirit and loves exploring the outdoors something she often uses her shifter form for. Victoria as mentioned earlier is a rational person always thinking things through and taking her time to come to a decisions. Although she is a very private person Victoria tends to open up greatly around the people she likes while it's not entirely obvious it's clear she becomes much more relaxed and calm. Beneath her shy surface is a sweet kind woman who wants nothing more than some friends although she isn't completely sure how to make them.

ℋ𝒾𝓈𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎:Victoria is originally from England born into a old money, highly prolific wealthy family. Vic was the youngest of 3 with an older sister and brother. Due to their family's distinguished background, her dad is a lawyer and her mom was a famous actress during the 70's and 80's, her parents put a lot of pressure on appearances and would dictate everything in their children's lives. Who they hung out with, where they went, what they wore it felt as though Victoria and her siblings were always under a microscope. Victoria felt suffocated and burdened by her parent's expectations. Vic often felt like she didn't fit in with upper-class society making the shy girl only struggle more to make friends. She thankfully found support in her maternal grandfather, an archeologist who helped foster her love of history by telling her stories about the digs he went on and showing her some of the different things he'd found. Victoria shared a close relationship with her eldest sister, Kathrine since their parents put their brother on a pedestal considering him to be the golden child causing Kathrine and Victoria to be pushed to the side. This caused the two of them to be each other's support system Kat often joking "It's just us against the world". After graduating from college and some encouraging from Kathrine and her grandfather Vic published her first book on Nordic mythology when she was 23 which was moderately successful. She also published a second book when she was 25 on Irish Folklore.

Sadly Victoria's life took a very sad turn. Vic and Kat's favorite place to visit was an old cabin on a mountain range in Wyoming, the pair traveled there during winter to celebrate Victoria getting her second book published. Kat was driving and ended up skidding on some ice taking them off the road down an incline and crashing into a snowbank, trapping the car. It was a remote road so the car wasn't found until the next morning by someone else heading up the mountain. Kathrine had died in the accident while Victoria was found several miles away by a small town claiming she didn't know how she got there. In actuality the accident had triggered her shift and she was able to escape from the snow embankment she didn't remember much from her shift, just panicked running through the snowy wilderness. The death of her sister and the sudden appearance of her ability caused Victoria a great deal of emotional distress, making it more difficult to control her shifting. Victoria called her grandfather in a panic telling him what had occurred, he used some old connections to send her to Fox Island where he thought she could get the help she needed. It turned out on her mother came from a line of shifters but it often skipped generations making it hard to predict when it would appear. Vic stopped writing for several years the death of her sister making her lose the love for it she once had but recently started getting back into it deciding to research legends on shapeshifters in hopes of finding more information and help others going through something similar.
