she's lazy, although that's likely the word that many of her clan-
mates would use to describe her, she just doesn't see the point
in putting in extra effort for the same end result. she also really
enjoys sleeping & if she can 'sneak' in an extra nap or two, she
definitely will. she is loyal to the clan but she just doesn't really
have the motivation to go above and beyond what is required of
her. she respects those above her in rank and will obey any order
given without backtalking; she just may mumble to herself, her
complaints about having to get up and do something when she
could be laying around in the shade instead. Some may call her
cold or distant, but its more that she just doesn't care, or want
to care. That being said, her intelligence is unusually high. she's
great at strategy and stealth, but getting her to use these talents
is the challenge in itself.

He's a very quiet cat, always taking in his surroundings and evaluating
the situation before responding. If you hadn't known better you would
think he was mute as Hawkpaw rarely speaks as he feels he has nothing
to say of importance. If you talk to him Hawkpaw just stares at you as
if you had mistaken him for another. If he had every known failure in
his life, it didn't show. Everything from the way he held himself, to the
way he spoke, to that look of unassailable confidence in his eye that said
he could do anything. Hawkpaw isn't as energetic and willing as the rest
of the apprentices. He's more of a quick thinker and problem solver rather
than a jump into action kind of cat. He would succeed in a leadership role,
to best to describe Hawkeyes would be that he's an old soul in a young body.
Hawkpaw is rather small in stature and can get bullied quite easily, despite
how smart he is and small and weak he appears to be, Hawkpaw can definitely
hold his own. This apprentice is fearless. If he really cares for you, and you
manage to become his friend, he will not hesitate to come to your rescue and
lay down his life for those he cares about even if the chance of success is less
than the rate and probability of failing.

Ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ: Scorchsoul comes off as an uncaring
and bitter cat- her cold demeanor driving away many a young
cat that has yet to really get to know her. More focused on
doing her duty to her clan rather than getting along with
every cat within the vicinity of their camp, Scorchsoul
prefers to be left out of sharing tongues and casual trips
around the territory. However, this molly carries a soft heart
underneath her cold gaze and was once an outgoing and warm
cat. It isn't entirely her own fault that she comes off nearly as
grumpy as the oldest elder, but after retaining damage from
an unfortunate run-in with a group of dogs she can't quite
help it. Interacting with cats as easily as she used to as an
apprentice isn't an option any longer, and when the attack was
fresh in every cat's mind, many avoided the suddenly changed
molly. Some cats, such as her littermate Quietstream, stayed
around, and after showing that with some effort to dig through
the ice now surrounding her heart the old Scorchsoul can shine
through, others began to reapproach her. Scorchsoul is more
than willing to do whatever she can for her clan, but showing
her affection to her friends and family is harder. It's usual to
see her accomplishing physical tasks in place of her friends
doing them as a way of showing how much she cares, over her
grooming them or simply having a nice conversation with them.
Stronger than the average molly, it makes physical tasks more
comfortable for the damaged cat. Scorchsoul may be changed,
but she is still loyal to the core and is certainly a cat you want
on your side.

Ｐａｓｔ: Scorchsoul was always a reckless kit,
wanting nothing more than to jump into action
alongside the grown cats anytime there was
any sign of unrest or unease within the clan's
territory. She wanted to prove her worth,
wanted to become an apprentice early, a
warrior early, and would often go on and on
about it to her friends. A charismatic molly,
Scorchsoul would even persuade her friends
to fake battles or try and follow patrols out
into the "unknown", to the chagrin of her
then mentor. She could never take no for an
answer, and would throw quiet fits after
being dragged back into camp or assigned
some chore as punishment for only doing
what she was so sure was her duty. After
her run-in with the pack of dogs, Scorchsoul
became an example to young apprentices
with her mentality, a story told to remind
them how important it was to listen and to
be patient. Despite the damage done and
the several steps backward that Scorchsoul
was forced to take, the molly persevered
to go earn her warrior name for her fiery
passion and fierce determination. Her
stubborn streak may have caused her to
lose almost everything, but it did not
break her spirit.

Ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ: Quietstream grew up as the sole caretaker
of her sister, and is seen as something more than just another cat
for being able to handle the off molly. Kind, caring, and able to take
care of Scorchsoul, the formula for the perfect mate, and the
perfect mother. That idea is something that Quietstream hates with
a burning passion. She loves being there for her sister and fellow
clan members, but that is where her caretaking abilities end. She is
more than just a pretty face. She has depth to her, just like any cat
in the clan. She has her flaws- there is no one more impatient or
sharper-tongued than Quietstream when she's unable to find the herb
she needs- and her good points. Sometimes she can't help but wonder
what life would have been like without Scorchsoul (would she have
been chosen to be a medicine cat apprentice if it weren't for the
effort she put into helping heal her sister?) but being the truly
family-oriented cat that she is, it takes no time at all for Quietstream
to dash the thoughts from her mind. Most of the time, the she-cat is
quiet and composed, fine with just going with the flow of life and
being content with the turnout- despite any bumps along the road
there may have been. However, the molly is very self-aware of just
how impatient she is, and maintaining this go-with-the-flow attitude
is a near-daily struggle. She wants to fuss 24/7 over her sister, mother
kits that aren't her own, chase after patrols because she can't help
but worry over them, and hover over her clan leader's shoulders. Many
of these impulses are seen as positive towards her healer's career, but
Quietstream feels as if it damages her ability to think straight. Sitting
next to her fellow medicine cats, the molly often feels she only lives
in their shadows. But the cat doesn't let it get her down, keeping a
smile on her face and a positive outlook on the life she is so
grateful to be living.

Ｐａｓｔ:Both parents killed in battle, Quietstream
was left to take care of her littermate Scorchsoul,
a duty that automatically fell to her as the older
cat by mere seconds. Of course, several queens
of the clan took care of the sisters through their
time as kits, but once the pair earned their "paw"
names, it was all up to Quietstream. Ever the
quiet cat, the young molly was mostly along for
the ride when it came to her sister's antics,
though she did her best to curb Scorchsoul's
reckless impulses. However it wasn't enough,
Scorchsoul was still hurt in the end, sending
Quietstream into a depressive spiral. Even
after being taken on as a medicine cat
apprentice, and mothering in the most useful
way possible, it was only fully broken once
she saved a kit from drowning in a stream.
Earning her warrior name, Quietstream felt
useful again, dependable again, like herself
again. She still has to care for her sister, even
with her now an independent warrior, but it
comes with the territory and she is glad
that the danger of Scorchsoul ever being as
reckless as before is basically gone. She now lives
a relatively standard life, occasionally fending off
unwanted attention from toms from the clan and
loners alike.

Pretty much no one in the clan except her sister has seen her cry. Pineglimmer has a very obvious crush on her medicine cat, Berrytongue, but no one in the clan can understand why she would pick him when there are plenty of other willing toms.
