ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ
Vaxas is not the most passionate or emotional
person in the world. In fact, you could consider
him one of the least. He's apathetic and negligent,
but he does his fair share in protecting those who
deserve it. He's stoic, strong, and silent, but once
knowing him, you will find that he isn't the most
happy. Vaxas will choose to hide a part of himself
away, unaware of the fact that the results are
beyond catastrophic. His pent up angst is released
when he hurts others verbally or physically if he
doesn't accidentally hurt himself first.

Sonia left the family soon after Mallius was born.
At this time, Vaxas was only 4 years old. The sole
reason for her departure was that she didn't want
Mallius. Arlen neglected the brothers because he
blamed them for driving his beloved wife away.
Due to Arlen's negligence, Vaxas and Mallius
quickly learned how to take care of themselves
and formed an extremely close bond.

ＨＩＳＴＯＲＹ
Due to his father's negligence from a young age, Vaxas grew to be
independent, only softening up to his brother who he had taken
care of, and who took care of him when he needed it the most. At
the age of ten, when Mallius was only six years old, the brothers
began to train with weapons. Their swords previously belonged to
Arlen, who couldn't care less if the brothers were borrowing them.
When Mallius was sixteen, he had a dream to join in the army and
eventually become the commander. However, he was killed when
he was twenty years old by trespassing into a highly dangerous area.
Hearing the news, Vaxas was in hysterics. Mallius had been his only
brother and best friend. Slowly, over the next few years, Vaxas
entered a downwards spiral when it came down to his mentality,
however, he promised himself that he would avenge Mallius. Not
by waging war over it, but by choosing to take up Mallius' dream
and become commander, because Mallius' death is Vaxas' only
motivation to be a better person, and only motivation to live.

Vaxas prefers to keep his friendship with Charlie a quiet one. The relations between the trainer and trainee run smoothly,
and the two of them have a silent bond over their emotional issues. Both Charlie and Vaxas are highly independent, and Vaxas admires "his" ability to work alone, and train alone when he's not around to supervise.

Vaxas doesn't have a particular view on Jessica, but instantly recognized the Parker name when it was mentioned among the recruits. Vaxas bought his horse, Svartr, from her family's farm, and have praised them for their skills in breeding and raising. However, Vaxas only knew Jessica's father, and not Jessica herself. He treats her as he would any other soldier and sometimes sends her to take care of the horses in the stables.

Vaxas' views on Kublai fluctuate quite a bit. He recognizes that she is an independent soldier for the most part, and deeply respects that, however when it comes to training, she appears as slower than the other recruits, as a result, irritating him because preparing for war is quickly is key in this situation and Vaxas doesn't have enough patience to give her much extra help. At the end of the day, he admires Kublai for her unique and nonconformist character.

Vaxas and Matthias have a complicated relationship. Two years ago, Matthias convinced Mallius to head into a dangerous area in Eleyah. However, Mallius was earlier to arrive than Matthias, and ended up there alone, resulting in an accident that cost him his life. Due to this given situation, Vaxas blames Matthias for his brother's death and is very hard on him when it comes to training.
He's bitter towards Matthias, and almost completely resents him.

Vaxas and Brannon are good friends through the loss of people who were important to them. Although they're quiet, they have an unspoken bond, coming to compromise and understanding for each other's feelings. Bran can see right through Vaxas, no matter how well he tries to hide his sorrows. Their relationship could be quite erratic at times, but neither of them push each other to be honest about their feelings. The men are simply there for each other if feelings need to be released, or if one of them just needs a friend to talk to.

I kinda want to get a jump start in working on my first post so that when we start I'll be ready, but my question is when does the roleplay start? Is it when the decree is sent out so we get the drama of leaving families and, for the girls, going into hiding? Or are we starting after it's all said and done and everyone's trading? Just want to get my facts straight! ^u^

The roleplay will start when the girls (disguised as guys) are just leaving home, so final goodbyes and such before heading to the camp for new recruits. While the girls are saying goodbye, the guys are preparing for the new recruits to arrive, either individually or at a short meeting to go over what will be taught.

Everyone should arrive at camp within the first post or two so we can get everyone in one spot and get the roleplay started!

I'm done with Charlotte's form! The personality/history is a bit all over the place, so to clarify, she is: instinctive, easily adapts to new situations, creative, protective, selfless, reliable, and hides all her negative emotions to seem emotionally strong and stable.
