meet stevie finn, a girl of twenty four years with an overall vintage taste and personality. you'll notice her clothes, flat, vehicle and even attitude are reminiscent of previous decades. she loves every second of visiting a thrift store, antique shop, or even a flea market, even if she ends up buying nothing at all. she owns a polaroid camera and a stock of film, which she takes everywhere she goes; a huge amount of money is used on this, but when she first bought it, she made sure to buy enough film to last her for a while, since it was on sale.
stevie finn is loud and free-spirited, and some would see her as legitimately insane. she's known for her screaming outbursts that shock and surprise those around her, though she feels as if she did nothing wrong; which, she didn't really. she's a bit careless when it comes to her actions towards others, though she treats her vintage finds and objects like they're her own children; this includes her polaroid camera, of course.
one of the most important things about stevie, is the fact that she owns and drives her beloved volkswagen van that has definitely seen better days. this is the vehicle in which the road trip will take place in. it has white leather interior, four seats on either side, including the driver and passenger seats, and cubbies for items and luggage. the ceiling is short and cramped, and so is the driver's seat, though still, stevie would have a heart attack if anything happened to her van, in which she had named robert finn.
stevie has long, blonde hair with darker roots, that is stick straight and thick, and is usually kept up in a messy top knot. her skin is fair toned, and tans reasonably in the summer. she's slim and short, standing around 5'1, and weighing around 130 pounds.
stevie had anticipated a roadtrip, though not one quite like this. she had pre-packed her leather suitcase with a few pieces of clothes, a swimsuit, her polaroid, her phone, and other random knick-knacks she wanted to take along with her; she assumed she'd never be going back home.

it's a movie about a future where our world relies on robotic beings to protect us from crime, which is at extreme levels. the creator of these police bots finally comes up with a formula that can give one of the robotic beings a conscious, and basically creates an artificial intelligence, and he grabs an old police bot and uses it for his experiment. after being hi-jacked by criminals, the criminals force him to use his experiment to fight on their side. they name him chappie. and it's so upsetting. :'c
so they teach this robot how to live and how to be, and he's like a child, but some of the criminals start treating him badly and he starts learning their habits and acting like them and speaking like them. it's sad.
i'm not going to spoil a lot for the sake of the fact that it may come out in theatres near you. c:
