Malakai never had an easy life. He never knew his parents and

was placed in a boy's group home at the age of 7 after his

grandma passed away. He was in and out of juvie a lot in his

teenage years for minor crimes such as theft, fighting, trespassing, and vandalism. After

spending 12 months in jail for robbery at 22, Malakai finally realized that he needed to

turn his life around before he ended up in prison for years for doing something dumb. Over

the next few years, Malakai kept his promise to himself. He began working as a mechanic

with his best friend and managed to get an apartment close by for a decent price. Even

though he was now living a normal life, Malakai couldn't help but feel like something was missing in his life. When he's not

working, he was either alone in his apartment or partying with his friends. One day his friend, Jake, came to him with a

proposition that Malakai couldn't turn down. He knew that he needed the money. However, he hadn't expected everything

to go wrong. During the robbery, the homeowner came home early and caught Jake stuffing his duffle bag full of

important documents. Before the man could call the police, Malakai struck the man's head from behind with a heavy

trophy intending to knock him out. In a panic, Malakai and Jake made sure that there was no evidence that could lead

back to them and left. They hid everything they stole and tried their best to act normal afterward. After a few days

passed, Malakai discovered from the news that the man that he had knocked out was someone who worked for the

Australian government and was now in a coma. Malakai knew that he needed to leave the country before anything bad

could happen. He worked on gathering as much money as he could over a few weeks and was preparing to leave for

the United States by the end of next month when his name was drawn for the game.

Malakai likes to joke around and mess with people often. He's

very sarcastic and can be brutally honest even if it hurts

someone else's feelings. Even though he seems like a very

happy friendly guy, he's a very closed-off person. He hates

talking about family and doesn't share much information about himself

Lucas lived his entire life in Berlin, Germany. When he

was young, his father left him and his mother and

never contacted them again. Lucas' mother turned to

drugs and drowned her sorrows away with alcohol.

Despite his home troubles, Lucas was a very well-behaved kid and was at the top

of his classes. When Lucas turned 16, he fell in love with one of his classmates.

Lucas would have done anything for his love, Sophia. She was his entire world and

he wanted to give her the best life that they could ever have. The two were

inseparable and rarely were apart from one another when they weren't at school.

The two went through a lot of ups and down in their 6-year relationship. After everything they had been through together, Lucas

never ceased to love Sophia. But one day his entire world came crashing down when he found out that she had been cheating on

him for a couple of years now. Lucas had never been so upset in his entire life. He kicked her out of their shared apartment and

threw all of her belongings outside for the entire neighborhood to see. Lucas wasn't the same after the breakup. He started

failing his college classes and became angry with everyone. When he realized that he was acting a lot like his mother, he knew

that he needed to get away and get a fresh start. This is what led him to the island.

Rowan is unlikely to sway from her way of doing things but isn't hard to teach if she respects you. She is loyal to a fault once she trusts you. Rowan is very determined and achievement oriented. She has been taught from a young age how to fish and even taught herself how to wield a trident because she believed it was cool. She also knows the basics of archery but has yet to prefect her aim.
