❖ born as the middle child alongside his two brothers to a korean father and american mother. has moved from place to place when younger; always had the money to do things, but still remains humble and never bragged about it. life's not the best at home, so he tries his best to steer clear of it when possible. his older brother was well known and universally loved by the school, so it saddened everyone when he died in a car crash last year.
❖ sarcastic and sassy with everyone. a rare sight to see him without a smile and is always cracking jokes at the wrong times. can be taken for being insensitive and thoughtless due to his behavior. somewhat of a thrill seeker who doesn't enjoy sitting still. elders say he's childish while those his age say he's fun to be around. many parents assume that he's a bad influence, but he does truly mean well, only wanting everyone to have a good time.
❖ seen as very warm, outgoing and fun-loving. gets along with everyone (except for a select few) and welcomes them with open arms. likes parties and adventures, seeming to never need a recharge. always happy to help others, but is not really the best one to go for advice.
❖ doesn't do well in self-care whatsoever; ignores problems instead of working to fix them. not verbal with his troubles, more inclined to keep them to himself, and he's very good at hiding when something bothers him.
❖ struggles in all things school-related. doesn't try to do better and constantly brushes off missing assignments and bad grades. when there's a topic he can't understand, he's prone to give up on it. he loses focus quick in whatever bores him, steering more towards play rather than work.
❖ tiny bit airheaded; impulsive, reckless, all that. doesn't seem to reflect on his words or actions, so he's totally oblivious to feelings. hurts others accidentally when he's hurting sort of deal. he's just a ball of confusion on the inside but rolls with it well. fortunately he's rather tolerant of pain and doesn't get angry often, but when it happens, it can be difficult to calm him down.

❖ childhood was spent in his homeland of china with a single mother and him. his father is remarried and has a family of his own; they haven't been able to spend much time together and rarely talk. moved over to the states around 14 years old and made his way into the school off of a scholarship.
❖ quiet and calm by nature; introverted, appearing apathetic and standoffish. has a very blunt way of speaking that can be deemed rude to some but useful for those who want honesty, because he won't hold back. usually, he's rather passive. he takes insults in stride but they build up over time, and is more sensitive than he reveals himself to be. he doesn't really show affection, but won't back away when given it, and is even a tad nervous to show it, always unsure if it's wanted or not. very gentle.
❖ brainy and studious, being more serious about his schoolwork than others. he tends to overwork himself and doesn't sleep well most nights because of it. not a break-taking or relaxation kinda person.
❖ takes a lot to be considered his friend. there's not that many people that he really likes at the school and even close friends may not know everything about his life. while he may be secretive, he shows a softer, more emotional side to those he trusts.
❖ prefers to stay out of the spotlight and instead, stick to the background. not too keen on moving out of his comfort zone; doesn't enjoy crowds of people nor participating in any group events unless it's with people he knows.
❖ has an anxiety disorder that keeps him away from school a lot; no one really knows about it though. it's a miracle how he isn't as far behind on classes as it seems. sometimes he disappears and is hard to catch in the halls, but as long as you've got his phone number, he's easy to get ahold of.
