I wrote on the front page of the discussion thread about this. We're not accepting more people. All of us can still make more cats. But we're not accepting new people since we've got a good group now. And we can all progress in the rp and know everything thats happened and get to know everyones characters. And someone might come in late and not be able to catch up with us easily and know all the stories and stuff everyones put time into.
