Rarity system updated to add 4 new categories!

coming from someone who seemed to "profit" from this.. it's broken.
the rarity of some of these pets completely skyrocketed, i'm drowning
in very rares.. how can i be drowning in very rares ?? alexa, define very rare.

i disagree, this shows to me that our OLD system was extremely broken. we now have more accurate depictions of the rarities of these pets, many of which were seriously undervalued for years.

Rare being red and Extremely Rare being purple is really throwing me off but I suppose I'll adjust with time. I am finding it extremely weird there seems to be such a big jump of omgsrs though. I guess I expected some to drop back down more than go up. Very interested to see how list changes now, and trading in general.

Highly appreciate the new rarity bar options and the unknown rarity (still growing) one!
I did vote for less rarities being added, but I think I'll get used to it. c:
Also very happy about being able to see a pet's rarity while viewing groups (I don't know if this was added in this update, but now is when I noticed it-)
As someone who isn't a hardcore trader, I don't really have any complaints about pet rarity changes yet, not that I've loked at too many yet. (And if the update discourages people from using the List... good. That thing has inflated the values of several pets way too much, imo)

But man, some pets that grew higher in rarity that were already hard to get, are now going to be impossible. Re-sorting everything was a nightmare, and i'm still working on editing my wl.

I definitely think there should have been some sort of compromise as there were also quite a few people that didn't want the 4 new rarities, like maybe instead of 4, add 2. But majority wins and it doesn't matter what anyone else wants? Not trying to sound rude or anything, but its just upsetting that the people who didn't want it, were silenced and now have to deal with it anyway.

and I love that unknown has two different categories now! what would have been even better is if those rarities were displayed under the pets like all the others are, would make early sorting a lot easier without the fear of accidentally trading away a sneakily still growing adult.

You weren't silenced. People just voted for what they wanted and popular vote won. You had a say, that is literally the opposite of being silenced.

Honestly having a quick look at my pets I’m rather disappointed with the new system. I expected the new tiers would bring a massive redistribution with a lot of pets dropping into a lower category so that OMGSR was saved for the truely Oh My God it’s So Rare! Instead the higher tiers seem even more bloated than ever
