ββββTurning her gaze toward the two younger felines, Equinox let out a snort - half from amusement and the other from annoyance. She rolled her eyes at the two, as they pleaded otherwise, their voices made her ears ache. βI see you two also havenβt been taught much about respect. Talking back to the wrong cat could get you hurt one day.β She replied, before completely ignoring them otherwise. Ugh, how she hated young ones. As she turned to Dawn, her attention was caught by another voice. Her mood didnβt change upon hearing it, if anything it probably worsened. Slowly turning her head, the feline noticed an all too familiar face. Firefly. βHmph. What a coincidence.β She meowed sarcastically, with a roll of her eyes.
βββββFine time to finally join us. That makes two naive youngsters, one wanderer and one that has a single chance as not to prove useless. How niceβ¦β She groaned, her ruffled pelt seeming to grow more so with every passing moment. Perhaps she shouldnβt have volunteered to join, but then they could have been left with some...inexperienced scouts. The only one she didnβt have a set opinion on was the white-and-ginger one. She seemed experienced enough, but the fact that she was letting two rather young cats go...it irritated her. Regardless, Equinox wasnβt in a place of power at the moment, so it wasnβt like she could do anything about it.
ββββThe russet molly returned her gaze to Dawn at her reply, glad to see that she had some sense in her. Sheβd apparently been planning on going along with them as well, but Equinox wasnβt sure how well she would be able to handle two youngsters and a feline who liked to wander. She was going to have quite the pawful with those three, but with herself around, she was sure things werenβt going to get crazy.
ββββAt Fidgetβs words, the feline turned to her with lowered ears. 'Those dogs wouldβve mauled you before you could even raise a paw.' She thought to herself, shaking her head as she returned her gaze to Dawn. βWell, I say letβs end the chit chat and get going. Itβll be dark if we keep sitting around like this.β She replied. The feline was only getting more impatient, which meant she was only becoming more irritable. It was time they get started and there was no time like now.
