Ophelia sat down, her head barely being held upright. Salem had been out patrolling as well last night? Strange that she hadn't run into him during her own patrols. Then again she wasn't sniffing every rock and log within the stretched of their territory for the scent of a friend, pack wolf, or that female loner who resided peacefully within the pack's territory. Coming from a history of being a loner Ophelia respected the loner and the fact that she hadn't tried to press farther into the territory. It was a mutual understand that existed between she and that female. She doesn't intrude farther into pack lands and Ophelia wouldn't tell her Alpha or go to great lengths to cover Dany's scent on various logs and rocks within the territory. A pack wolf had done the same for her once and she was happy to pass on the favor.
Her mind returned back to Salem and she cocked a brow in question. She certainly didn't run into him, it was the other way around for sure. "First of all, you ran into me. Not the other way around you dingus. Secondly, I was up all night patrolling the South and East parts of the territory, Laurens quite literally told me to sleep before he talked to Folkvar and left." She added with a shrug, her muzzle gaping wide into a yawn that had her tongue lolling outside of her muzzle for quite some time. "Quite frankly it seems like you could use some sleep too you big oaf." She added it in cheekily with a grin, her teasing was light and playful, after all she had a missed opportunity to make up for.
Though as she sat the sun gradually warmed her pelt and she found herself deep within the reaches of her subconscious. Dozing off she staggered to the side, catching herself as Salem once more opened his yapper to steak to her. "I'm here...barely. Usually I'd sit and go back and forth with you but I'm drop dead tired. I'm goin' to bed." She added and got up, head-butting his shoulder and taking small, sloppy steps towards the den that she'd soon flop down in to rest in all her glory. She paused though, turning her head to look behind her and she snorted towards him and stuck her tongue out before retreating into the den, trying her hardest to stop over paws and tails.
DAENERYS ──x❝i do believe it is time for another adventure.❞

Daenerys' mouth hung open in a soft pant, the corners of her muzzle upturning in a smile as he licked at her neck. Twas a fickle thing, her submissive nature yet yearn for independence. She'd only ever voluntarily submitted to Laurens, her trust within him had been forged to be stronger than tempered steel in the coming months. Otherwise she only showed her submission when getting in a more tense situation. For many others an outsider submitting to them seemed to fill their ego and they'd let her be for the most part. She could see the slight frown that carried on his muzzle and she felt her heart ache softly, perhaps if she were younger she would be more apt with the game of hide and seek, though the buzz of doing something supposedly mischievous had long gone, and only now could she see how it impacted Laurens, the sneaking and the lying to his family and pack. All the while it both broke her heart and warmed it, his loyalty to both his pack and her was something to be admired.
As he licked her chin the worrisome thoughts ebbed away and she smiled gently as his reply. She'd be more discreet, it wasn't fair to him to put a wedge between himself and his pack all because she wanted to have her own small patch of land. The thought hadn't come yet as to why she had marked the space, she never had done so before. Was she growing fond of this territory and even more so, attached? "Do you think they'd really want a wolf-hunt?" She asked it softly, pressing her head to his shoulder before turning away to look at the meadow. She was elated with Laurens and their relationship, but once they would depart it went back to her merely traversing the outskirts of the territory on her lonesome. Usually such a situation wouldn't bother her but she yearned for his company more and more with each passing day.
Perhaps an adventure could be had within a pack? While it wouldn't consist of seeing new places or feeling new soil under your paws it would be an adventure nonetheless, and one she'd get to experience out in the open with him. She stifled the sigh that bubbled in her lungs, perhaps if the Gods hadn't cast such a wretched omen on his pack she'd join soon, but now? With the promise of something bad on the horizon? Surely his pack-mates would suspect that she is part of that Omen. Her thoughts escaped to the back of her mind as he nibbled and nipped at her cheek. A light giggle passed her lips and she could feel some of the more delicate strands of fur billow around at the air he had blown towards her, "I know we won't, but now it becomes a question of when." She said it softly, if it came down to it she'd exchange her freedom to be with him, she had to. Still the thought scared her, beyond losing her freedom to come and go as she pleased she'd become an Alpha. She'd have an actual role within the pack that needed to be fulfilled, "What if I join your pack eventually? Would they even accept me as their Alpha Female? Muchless as a member of the pack..?" She asked worridly, casting a soft gaze to Laurens, "Don't answer that. I don't think I want to know." She suddenly ejected with an affirming nod. She could tell that if his reply was something other than an overwhelming yes that she'd get her feelings hurt.
Once he spoke of his pack she listened intently, finding herself frowning at the bad news. Even from afar she knew of these wolves and their mannerisms. Ophelia, the dutiful and callous loner turned viciously protective pack-wolf. Wren, the sassy beta whom showed fierce loyalty to the pack. Salem, a brute who seemed to hold a dominate heart matched with his determination, a troublesome pairing. A soft growl befell her lips at him speaking of the afore mentioned brute possibly seeking to challenge Laurens. She turned, nibbling along his jaw and chin, finishing the gesture with a swift lick to his cheek. "You're a marvelous Alpha my love. He'd be an idiot to try and challenge you. He'd make a fool of himself in front of the pack." She spoke softly, her tone held a convicting truth yet remained gentle and loving towards him.
She fell quiet once more as he continued to confide in her and she felt a frown tug at the corners of her muzzle. The Gods had been ignoring their pack Shaman. She merely wanted to take Laurens and stash him away in her less complicated world, hide him from the stress and worries he endured daily. Letting out a soft sigh she pondered for a moment, her own faith in the gods was steadfast but a clear line was drawn in the sand between she and them. She heeded their advice and warnings but at the end of the day she chose the path that her paws walked upon. "From what I have heard the trouble isn't coming from up above, but rather around. Perhaps Folkvor needs to stop looking up. The Gods have made it clear, they said as much as they wished to share and no more." She spoke softly, her own wits oozed into her words, "As for Ophelia and Wren, both have shown to be dutiful and ever so hard working members of the pack. With time they will calm, it might do the whole pack some level of good if you had a feast. Boost morale and work on strengthening the pack bonds between everyone. I was always told the whole premise of a pack was safety and reassurance in numbers, let them feel that security of the pack." She finished, a small smile gracing her muzzle at her reply. She was proud of herself, she had offered what she felt to be solid advice.
Now though, Laurens swore he was fine, that he didn't need her grooming and superb comforting skills. She gave an amused snort, she knew very well she had won this battle before it even started. "You don't need a good grooming just as much as I don't need water." She said with a soft hum of laughter, bending down she plucked one of several tufts of dead fur from his pelt and let one of her brows raise questioningly. "Just stay long enough to rest, have a good meal, and be cared for. Everyone needs a break sometimes, including you and luckily caring for others is my specialty." She finished and nudged his shoulder. Eventually she got up and trotted towards the limp rabbit that was hidden within the grass, it's soft brown pelt perfectly camouflaged against eyes that weren't seeking to find it. "To our den we go, you already have a meal that's still somewhat warm but very fresh." The words our den made her heart flutter and she pranced around him, ushering him towards the den that they had made together. Since then she had filled it with soft feathers and moss as bedding, that den was her home. As such she trotted forwards, waiting outside the small and hidden entrance to it with a soft smile.
She enjoyed caring for her loved ones, filling their bellies and giving them a good grooming. It made her feel purposeful beyond being simply a loner whom skittered around their territory. As much as she loved seeing new places nurturing was where her heart truly laid, the ability to look after someone else and ease their mind was something she loved to do. She looked back to Laurens and a soft laugh escaped her, "From afar you look like a dirty bachelor who doesn't know what cleanliness is." The words carried along her tongue and her eyes glittered with profound love for him and amusement at her own jesting, "When you return to your pack you'll be the glittering Alpha that I know and love." She added again, nodding her head along with her words. While some females enjoyed the tattered and 'rugged' look of an ungroomed brute she liked hers clean and sophisticated, and right now Laurens was a strange mix of the two. He carried himself in a sophisticated manner but his pelt that remained cluttered with dead fur seemed rugged in a sense.
