xxxDarkSpirit's ear twitched as Laine implied his company was 'nice'. He wondered what he'd done right to prompt such a reaction. He wasn't nice, he was something else but not nice. Before he got a chance to think it over GameMaker inserted himself directly into DarkSpirit's face causing the tom to rear up on his hind legs; claws bear and lips curled defensively. When the creature showed to only be over zealous in his curiosity DarkSpirit forced himself to show restraint. "I've been here for three days. I spent the first two exploring. There is a huge oak which I've made a camp inside of it's roots." He confessed, unsure why he was revealing his home but feeling a longing for company which went against his primitive instincts. He made an odd face at Laine, "What is an asia? I think it's clear where we are; in a forest. Is there more to it than that? Do we really need to know more when all we need is here; water, prey and herbs."

-- - So it didn't seem that DarkSpirit knew where they were in relation to the rest of the world, just in relation to the local area. Maker remembered that not everyone was friendly enough for him to go around invading personal space and scooted away slightly, though he couldn't get very far due to having such small legs.
-- - "I don't think we're in Asia," he thought out loud, mostly in response to Laine but partially to both. "These trees look more like a North American forest." He paused to look around at the scenery, then added mostly in response to Darkspirit, "Asia, I think, is far away." He forgot sometimes that it wasn't actually normal for most creatures to spend their time wandering around the world.
-- - The masked origami spirit following him around seemed to tire itself out from orbiting its master in circles--that, or it just got bored of the situation--and fell to rest on Maker's back, where it laid and did nothing.

laine flicked her tail "i guess not." she said calmly. her eyes wandered to afar, where were they really? she shook that thought from her head. better not think of it now, where they are is where the intend to stay. she glanced back at darkspirit, "well, maybe we could go there with you? we could help find some food and medicine. it would be handy to have around." she inquired. her heart pounding at the thought of staying with these animals for the night.

crescent's gaze flickered to prismal, it's ok. i guess we're all a little paranoid. he growled back. he returned to watching the pheonix and bear intently while waiting for them to take his talons in agreement. he liked the deathsongs song, it was reassuring, and calm in a way. it made him feel at home. what's your name? he asked, he didn't know it, it seemed rude just to call her, that other dragon.

Prismal yawned, letting out a low bellow as she curled up, watching the two others. I'm Prismal. She silently responded. The moon shown onto the 4, Making The Deathsong a bit sleepy. Although sleep started to come opon her, Her humming did not stop. It was reassuring.

nico felt humbled when the creature approached him, seeing how much larger it was than him. he extended his hand and shook the dragons talon. finally, they were making some progress it seemed.

he didn't want to believe it, but he indeed was understanding what the dragons were saying to each other. well, maybe 'understanding' isn't the exact term. more like, he could sense what they were trying to convey. later he'd definitely want to research this more, but for now he was content with assuming that, because he is of bird-like nature, he must have some form of ability of understanding beings such as dragons.

clearing his throat he proceeded. "i'm nico. this is humdrum," he pointed to the bear next to him, "and this here is fuzzykins" he said, petting his ferret, who in turn made soft chirps. "nice to meet you, prismal." he said, sending a smile towards the larger dragon. "you too, uh... sorry, i didn't quite catch your name?" he cocked his head to the side as he looked back at the dragon in front of him.

he wasn't sure what was going to happen next, but he was content with the fact that they've managed to establish some form of a connection. at least no one was afraid of each other anymore, or at least he hoped so.

crescent looked at nico crescent. he said simply. you can understand us? he asked, staring at nico with wide eyes. he put his talons on the ground again and growled at prismal, he can understand us? he asked again. he scooted a little closer to prismal, just for comfort.

"crescent. nice to meet you as well." he quickly noted both of their names in his mind, hoping that he won't be as forgetful as usual. "sort of. i'm surprised as well. i've never really met a dragon before, let alone two at once. but yeah, i get the gist of what the both of you are saying." he looked over at humdrum, thinking about how much the poor bear must be confused right about now. "humdrum, these are prismal and crescent. i don't know if you can understand them or not, but it would appear that i can." he said with a low chuckle.

he looked over at prismal, who seemed to be enjoying herself. he adjusted himself, so that he was now sitting on his knees, as fuzz gently approached crescent and sniffed him. nico smiled at the sight, almost in disbelief at how calm everything suddenly seemed. 'what a strange batch,' he thought to himself, 'two dragons, a phoenix, a ferret and a bear.' it almost seemed comical, if it wasn't somehow so serene.

crescent glanced at the ferret with curiosity, poking it a little. he made almost a purring noise, he was happy. he glanced back at nico, well i've never met a ... what are you? before. he growled. he glanced at prismal and scooted a little closer. he did this out of curiosity. he leaned in a little and slowly plopped his head on her shoulder, staring at the setting sun. he glanced nervously at her, wondering if this was ok.
