'alright', nico thought, 'if i wasn't afraid before, i certainly am now'. he stepped back, closer to humdrum, as the other dragon appeared in front of them. on the outside he tried to remain as calm and collected as he could, but on the inside, his mind was racing with all sorts of thoughts. will this creature attack them? how could they ever protect themselves against two dragons? nico always relied on his ability to fly, but in this situation even that is completely useless, as the dragons could easily fly after him. for a split second, he even considered distracting the dragons so that he could give humdrum a chance to escape, but being selfish as he is, he really didn't want to lose the only friend he had managed to make in this place.

he looked over to humdrum, seeing him actually afraid for the first time. "guess that answers my question," he quickly said to the bear. he wasn't sure how to proceed, should he try talking to both of the dragons now? do they perhaps live here? or are they, like nico and humdrum, also lost and confused in this strange place?

as he thought about the possibilities, the second dragon flew up to the first one, and nico noticed that it was seemingly trying to protect the bigger dragon. it's roaring and movement definitely made nico step even further back, but then suddenly an idea popped into his head.

he plopped down onto the ground, sitting cross-legged, and tried to even out his breathing as much as possible. using the calmest voice he could muster, he spoke "we're very lost. we're offering you friendship." he smiled at the dragons, as fuzzykins moved down into his lap and laid down. "however, if you want us to leave you alone, we'll go. just please know that we don't want to hurt you." he petted his ferret, as she made soft noises, showing her appreciation. he knew that he could probably just back away, and that him and humdrum could just go back the way they came and leave this situation. but he didn't want to leave the dragons letting them believe that he was going to cause them harm. even if they went their separate ways, nico wanted to make sure that they were aware that he is friendly and very, very, very lost and afraid.

Prismal felt comforted, She felt safe. Only a dragon could tell if somehing was dangerous. Well, In her rules. The Deathsong curled up tighter, Making a low growling whine. The Bear thing had fallen down, looking as if it was scared half to death. Prismal closed her eyes, Trying not to make herself run off.

Prismal came into this world as a scare and self assesed egg, A Worriable Child, And a Paranoid Dragon. Someone had to be there for her. The Deathwong watched that the Pheonix thing sat down, She lifted ehr head watching them.

Zip glared at the dark figure, And rushed over to it. He cocked his head with a quick twist and growled curiously. The Speedstinger got his tail ready, Just incase the person tried anything Shifty. Zip's Tail was barbed with Paralyzing liquids, That could paralyze anything in sight.

He looked at the leaves, Confused. What is this person doing? He chirped in his dragon way. Zip took one of the leaves and chewed on it. Gah! It tasted Horrid! Was that Dragon Root? He growled, Whining as hunger struck again.

Humdrum followed Nico's lead. His panic washed away like an autumn leaf in a stream, and he pricked up his ears, waggling them in a friendly manner.

"Yes, uhm.." he cleared his throat, embarrassed, sitting down beside the phoenix. He spoke quietly, to avoid alerting the dragons further, though he wasn't sure what good it would do. Nico was clearly the one who had a hidden affinity with these creatures. "Forgive me, I too offer my humble apologies and my friendship, should you desire it."

Then, to Nico: "Are you certain this is wise?" He himself was unsure, and felt very awkward about the whole situation and his behaviour, as being uncertain was something he hadn't felt since he was a cub.

nico was glad that humdrum was quick to follow his lead, without questioning it much. he looked over at the bear, giving him a smile that was clearly not-so-genuine. "honestly. i have absolutely no idea. i'm hoping that by sitting down and them seeing us as.. well, uh, physically smaller, we might not seem like such a big threat." nico shrugged. his plans were always spontaneous and sudden, without much planning or forethought.

he suddenly remember his past, and how this kind of behavior led him to losing a loved one. he looked down at the ground, with sadness and fear in his eyes. he held back tears, not wanting to seem more inferior in this moment than he already was. he cleared his throat, rubbing his eyes and looking back up at the dragons, then shifting his glance at humdrum. "i.. don't want them to see us as enemies. even if we don't become friends, i just want them to know that they can feel safe around us." he spoke softly, not really knowing whether he wanted the dragons to hear him or not. he wanted to ask them for their names, but soon realized that he might not be able to understand their answers, even if they gave them.

laine's ears perked, a medicine cat? she supposed it was probably what he called a doctor of some sort. she flicked her tail, "going? i mean, we just got here. it's nice to have someone to talk to for a while." she admitted, her eyes wavered for a moment, thinking of her mother, her friends, her old life. she bit back tears and sat down, looking up at gamemaker, "i don't think anybody knows where we are. for all i know we could be in asia." she remarked.

crescent cocked his head at the pheonix, watching as he sat down, and began talking in a calmer voice. he stared at the pheonix, growling a little. his wings folded up against his side gently and he sat on the branch, listening to them. he glanced at prismal, waiting for her to do something, he wasn't sure what to do next.

As the sun rushed onto her skin again, Prismal lifted her head to look at Cresent. She nudged his neck, With a small chirp as the dragon stretched her enormus wings. Prismal looked at Humdrum, Walking over to him.

She nudged his cheek with the kindness of her heart as she left out a almost 'purring' sound. Prismal looked at Cresent and growled in a friendly way These things don't hurt me, There good.

jessamine flinched as the dragon thrilled, sheepishly retracting her hand as the creature took the leaf. jessamine winced, "you didn't like it?" she breathed out, a sense of disappointment washing over her tone, she chose her words carefully, assuming that zip knew what she was saying. "how about we go find you some food bud?" the warlock tapped her thigh gesturing for the dragon to follow. a small smile cast across the young (or should i say old) woman's mouth,
glancing behind her shoulder to the speedstinger.

crescent looked at the bear, he let out a long sigh as prismal touched his cheek. Crescent flew down, sitting on the ground and holding his talons out for one of the two to take them. he knew they couldn't communicate with him, but it was worth a shot agreeing not to harm them. he gestured with his head to his talons. then let out a soft growl. he glanced at prismal, alright, but that doesn't mean i trust them fully.
