- Oleander | Scout Apprentice | Chatting with Ruby and Eva | Ruby and Eva/OPEN (Mentions Blayke)
Oleander slowed her pace to match the other two wolves. She exchanged Eva's grin with her own and her tail wagged even harder at hearing Eva's voice. It was such a lovely sound to the young female's ears. "That's good to hear!" she yipped cheerfully. "I'm doing pretty good myself. I'd love to go with you guys to the creek if that is what you're gonna do. I'll probably go out and check out the perimeters later after we come back and I have a quick snack, though." Oleander paused for a moment before adding, "Unless, of course, you have somethin' planned for today, Ruby, after Blayke gets back?" She wondered to herself if it would be good if she started going on a morning walk like Blayke does... but then again, that meant getting up earlier than she needed to.
Jayden | Hunter | Laying on the ground cause he hurt his paw | OPEN
Having caught the scent of a rabbit, Jayden dived downward until he came close enough to the ground. Had he gotten any closer the rabbit would probably hear or smell him, but he had taught himself how to fly near to silently after observing owls to get him closer than most other wolves. He tucked his ears against his head as he picked up speed to approach the rabbit. His paws touched the ground and he folded his wings underneath him, bursting into a sprint after the rabbit. Jayden began to gain on the rabbit. The rabbit, the rabbit, the rabbit. Closer and closer... closer... DAMN IT TREE! His paw caught under the root of a tree and dove face first into the ground. Laying there, trying to recollect himself, he realized pain was ebbing up his leg from his paw. He began to sit up, whining slightly as his paw ached. Jayden winced as he tried to pull it from under the root and let out a growl before he could finally yank his paw out, falling back and collapsing onto his side. He lay, breathing heavily and highly frustrated with himself. I'll have to have Sky or Jaune check it out. He could tell he'd be limping for at least a few days if it wasn't sprained. Well, at least I've got wings.
