➜ Every year the summer temperatures just keep rising and rising, causing prey and predator alike to scurry for shade and wait for the cool nights to come out of hiding from the harsh rays. Rivers and lakes drop in size everyday slowly evaporating and disappearing before their eyes, causing droughts throughout the forest. But luckily throughout the droughts and dried up and dead vegetation a fire hasn't started. Yet. But this summer has been named the worst for the forest, the searing heat is already causing the river to slowly begin shrinking and vegetation to begin wilting away. The temperature only seems to go from sweltering to bearable once the sun sets and the cool night breeze sweeps through bringing relief to the lands.
➜ But deep into the forest resides a clan of cats that have deemed themselves as Pineclan, They have made their home in the heart of the forest and fight against the heat to survive. They know the summers are hot and sometimes hard to make it through, the only thing getting them through each day is the cool nights and the faith for cooler days. Their leader StagStar believes that they will make it through this summer without any casualties and plenty of new lives being born to make Pineclan stronger. But what he doesn't know is that all it takes is a spark and strong breeze to set a forest aflame and burn it down within an instant.
