Story
You are a dog in Moscow, Russia. It is after the Great War, and almost all humans have been wiped out. The ones who remain, have made a living in the metro, away from mutated creatures and radiation. As dogs, we have adapted to survive the radiation except in large amounts. There are places that are more irradiated than others, and places where the mutated creatures stay. Occasionally you'll see one outside of those places, but it is rare and usually they are only out to hunt. After dark, the more lethal ones come out. They are black to blend into the shadows, but have a thin skin that is easily damaged by sun. They are faster than dogs, and the only way to keep them away is light. On top of the now natural dangers, the rival packs are dangerous to one another. Your only goal is to survive this life.
Very open world with no set plot line.
rp rules
one | all of tess's rules apply.
two | wolf hybrid dogs are accepted, but very limited. They are not better than dogs and have the same limitations.
three | no small dog breeds. (toy/mini poodles, toy breeds, chihuahuas, etc.)
four | post at least three complete sentences. this is semi-lit.
five | if you do not post after one week, you will be taken down from the ranks. if you are going to be gone, please send me a pm ahead of time.
six | use the discussion forum for all and any OOC and to post your forms.
seven | do not start any major drama without asking others.
eight | no excessive gore or mating scenes. fade to black.
nine | no joining with pups younger than 3 months without a mother.
ten | you may only have one lead role in the pack.
eleven | if you do not specify what breed they are, i will put them in as mutts.
twelve | absolutely no wolves. They may be a mix, but a dog breed must be the dominant breed.
thirteen | the pack does not eagerly welcome new comers.
fourteen | i trust you have read the rules. if your form does not meet requirements you will not be accepted. i will give you one chance to change it.
fifteen | no police dogs or anything of the like.
sixteen | use your own forms, but if you do not have one, pm me and i will give you one.
seventeen | i am only accepting a limited number of certain breeds. not every dog is a husky or shepherd.
eighteen | real world, real consequences. you can not go around attacking people without being hunted.
nineteen | your dog will age.
twenty | i will be picky with what pictures i allow. if you claim it is an american pit bull terrier, but post a picture of an american bully, you will not be accepted. if you need help, i will help you match the picture to a breed. that being said, absolutely NO BLUE, MERLE, LILAC, OR ISABEL colored apbts.
twenty one | take your dogs' breeds into account.example: a rottweiler cannot run as fast as a grey hound, and a grey hound can easily be overpowered by a rottweiler.
rankslead pair
the lead pair are the alphas of the pack. the alphas are in charge of the pack, and make most decisions. they get the most respect from the pack, and failure to follow orders will result in exile. the lead male and female must be mated.
co-leader pairthe co-leader pair has almost as much power as the lead pair. this pair is highly trusted by the leader(s) and thus has more power. they help in decision making, organizing scouting trips, battle strategies, and much more. however, they still must listen to the lead pair. these two do not need to be mated, but must get along on some levels.
deputy pairthe deputies are next in line to be leaders. this pair does need to be mated, as both will become the next lead pair. they must listen to the leaders orders, and they are below the co-leader pair. they still receive respect from pack mates.
lead fighter pairthis pair does not need to be mated, but need to get along. they are the ones with the most fighting experience, and train the pups that wish to become fighters. other than the control they have over the battle field, and help with plans that relate to that, they are just another pack member.
lead scavenger pairthe lead scavenger pair does not need to be mated, nor get along. this pair is the one that is the best at finding food in difficult areas. these two will train pups how to effectively use their nose to find food that is not spoiled, and howto avoid humans at all costs. they have little control over anything other than organizing scouts to find food.
fightersfighters are the dogs with the most strength, who were trained by the lead fighter pair. they will run into battle on command, without a second thought or a regard for their life.
scavengersscavengers have the best noses, using them and their knowledge to look through human waste for anything edible for the pack. they are responsible for feeding the pack.
healershealers are the dogs with the best medical knowledge. they know where the herbs grow, and how to use them effectively. healers are neither permitted to scavenge or fight, so they are looked down upon in the pack. they do not have power over anything other than their own medicine supply.
subordinatessubordinates are the lowest in the pack, equal to the wolf's pack omegas. they can scavenge if they wish, fight if they wish, but they do not get respect for it. they are the last to eat, and are seen by most as unworthy.
junkyard dogs/loners/rougesthese are the dogs that do not belong to any pack. they either run the streets as loners, or live in the junkyard with the others. these dogs are very much unliked by the pack, who will attack on site unless ordered otherwise.
