she looked at the younger wolf as she stated her name "what a pretty name, and a knight?
wow you must be tough wolf"
she said with a bit of enthusiasm. the young wolf must be a lot stronger than she thought. she looked at the other wolf that wasn't saying much who was in front of them, the one that had found her first before looking back at the fae. "i bet you could take him out if you wanted to" she whispered to the fae quietly. she was joking of course, from what she was seeing is that she was under ranked by him. she saw that she was quite submissive towards him, she didn't know what rank he would be but sanura seemed a tad afraid of him.

xxxxxxxxxxxshe watched the brute come to a halt, she then halted with the female beside her, trying not to lead so much on the young fae. she wondered why they suddenly stopped but then her ears flicked towards the male hearing his joking remark. as they walked a few steps forward she saw the rocky slope, her eyes widened a little as she didn't know she could do this. she huffed and looked the other fae before carrying on down with them, she leaned more on the brute then the fae. "so... what's your alpha like?" she asked mainly towards the female but it was enough to hear for the brute. she wanted to know what she was getting herself into.

the wolf.
name;; amaya.
age;; five.
gender;; female.
rank;; commoner, servant.

pack info.
crush;; -
friends;; to be determined.

happening.
surroundings;; den area.
mentioned;; remus.
tagged;; taka.

Amaya was pulled from her thoughts and looked up at Taka. She nodded quietly, glancing towards Remus with a hatred she had a hard time to hide. It probably wasn't wise, but she was already the lowest rank. The only thing he could do was kick her out,
and she couldn't even care. Her ears flattened as Taka walked away, suggesting finding work. She watched him walk away and sighed. He was probably right, yet she hated having to obey those nobles. Amaya moved herself to lay down, rested her head on her paws and closed her eyes.

She couldn't really bother finding work and being good to those nobles, especially not the king. If they wanted something from her,
they'd needed to come to her. She wouldn't go randomly ask if there was something they required her to do. Keeping her ears at the ready to hear for anyone approaching or her name being called, she kept her eyes closed and simply listened to what went on around the camp area.

Ajax had always been an early riser. He poked his nose out of his den, but quickly withdrew when he heard the crunch of footsteps. Jamison. He had no intention of confronting the advisor right then. His burrow was warm and comfy, completely the opposite of the outside world, but there was no way he was going back to sleep. Once a morning bird, always a morning bird. After enough time passed that Jamison was no longer the only wolf outside, Ajax slunk from his den and into the white powder.

He hated snow. It was cold, wet, and all-around unpleasant. It seeped into his fur, despite his heavy winter coat, and he halfheartedly shook to get it off. It came back, though, and he gave up. He scanned the den area, observing all the wolves currently within its boundaries, and caught sight of Neonius chewing on a hare carcass. His own belly grumbled in protest, but he ignored it and padded over to the other servant.

"Good morning," he said softly, dropping to his haunches beside the other wolf. He didn't mind either way if Neonius wanted to talk; he felt fine just sitting there. Instead, he directed his gaze back around the dens, watching for any other wolves looking for a servant to bully.

Sanura felt her pelt grow hot at Riya's compliment. "Uh…Thank you." Then came the next comment. Sanura's ears flattened to her head and she glanced sideways at Riya. How dare she even suggest that? Even if the female was joking…Well, she wouldn't last long under Remus if that was what her sense of humor was like.

They paused for a moment at the bottom of the hill. Sanura flicked her ears at Calorn's comment, amusement curling a smile onto her muzzle. Then they started up the hill. She noticed the other female seemed to lean more on Calorn, though she didn't complain. At Riya's question, she looked over at Calorn for his reaction.

"Um, he's kind of hard to describe." She chose her words carefully. "If you're loyal to him, he'll serve you well. If you're not, or you break the rules, you're going to have a hard time." Again, her gaze flicked to Calorn, hoping her response was satisfactory.

Gnash's tail lowered in disappointment as he heard the news of the herbs. It was a shame that so many had been lost, especially in winter. He frowned slightly as he considered the consequences, they would surely have to restock. "Don't worry about the loss Silhouette. If you'd been blocked in, we wouldn't have your help here." He encouraged, his tail beginning to swish again.
He perked up as a solution offered itself so quickly and simply. "I'd love to come help!" He exclaimed happily, "I'm sure with Sasha aiding us, we'll get it done in no time." He smiled gratefully to the huntress and shook himself a final time in a futile attempt to remove the chill.
The herbs certainly needed to be collected as soon as possible, but Gnash couldn't help feeling concern and fear grip his heart at the thought of Remus looking for a medic and not finding one in the vicinity. His wrath wouldn't be pleasant, but this needed to take priority. "Early start it is. Lead the way." He agreed, covering the nervousness he felt with enthusiasm. "The quicker we replenish what we've lost, the better."

Aurelia slowly blinked open her eyes as the suns warmth touched her muzzle. She may still have been drowsy from the lack of sleep she had received, she certainly hated the cold and definitely needed to layer the outside of her den more to keep the heat in,
yet she awoke in a good mode none the less. She stood and stretched her limbs, embracing the rough ache that was the first movement of her muscles after hours of stillness. She glanced around her dusty den and was pleased to see the snow that littered the outside hadn't bothered her much.
Aurelia walked outside, lifting her nose up to smell the crispness of cold air. Snow, though unpleasantly cold, certainly gave a beautiful sheen to the world. She glanced around and took in her surroundings. Most wolves were awake, but her king was not yet.
She also noticed that many dens had been covered in snow, and glanced back to her own home to double check that it was unaffected. Once she was certain it was fine she began to ponder her days duties. There was yet to be any instruction, and her first priority appeared to be reinforcing the outside of her den.
Aurelia huffed as she realised she probably shouldn't leave camp until she have received her orders, and so was stuck watching over the pack.

Kell, one

Postby Arkinhallow » Sat Aug 05, 2017 1:10 am

    ↠ KELL
    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
      i. male ii. seven y/o iii. loner iv. crush v. scent: pine needles

A gust of cold air on his nose was what finally woke Kell. The darkness in his den told him it was not yet sunup. He stretched his front legs out, feeling the stiffness ease from them. After repeating the action with his back legs, the male lay slumped for a few more moments, loath to face the day ahead for many reasons. He knew he would be leaving the warmth of his den for the bitter weather outside, if that cold wind was anything to judge by. He also knew he would be facing that cold with an empty belly and little energy. It had been more than a week since his last meal and with every passing day his stomach ached more intensely. He had slept fitfully, waking every few hours and never quite relaxing fully into sleep, with the hunger gnawing at his belly. And, though he didn't like to admit it, he was lonely. In his den, curled up in the dark and warmth, he didn't feel quite so alone. But when he stepped out, the vastness of his surroundings reminded him that there was not a single wolf for miles and miles that he could call his friend.

Kell let out a quiet whine. The mornings were when he missed her most; when he awoke to find that there was no warm body curled against him, no soft breaths echoing his own. Recognising the darkening of his mood, Kell quickly rose to his feet. He knew that if he fell into one of his sad spells again he may very well end up starving. He sensed that if he didn't find food today, he would be too weak to hike through the snow the next day to look for a meal. With an almost inaudible sigh, the pale wolf strode towards the entrance of his den. A snowdrift almost entirely obscured the opening; a small hole at the top was letting in the icy wind he had felt earlier. To his surprise, a bright stream of light also entered from it. The snow was blocking the light... it must be far later than I thought, he mused, concerned. Kell pushed through the snow with a grunt, bursting out into the daylight in a shower of white flakes. He grimaced in displeasure as he felt the weight of the freezing snow on his back, cold tendrils of melting water seeping into his fur. He shook himself vigorously, then examined his surroundings.

Kell's den was perched quite high on the walls of the valley. He could see most of it from here, although he often saw nothing more interesting than the snowy canopy of the forest below. He knew there was a large pack occupying the valley, for he'd seen flashes of their patrols among the trees occasionally, and he'd come across their scent markers more than once. He'd never interacted with one of them, though; he took great care to stay out of their way, despite his lust for even the most unsavoury of companions. He remembered speaking with Lysa about meeting them, the two of them toying with the idea of asking to join. But it had never gone further than idle talk, and since her passing Kell had felt no desire to go anywhere near them. Today though... he felt it was time to take a risk. His painful hunger overrode his caution. He needed food, even if it was only carrion from this pack. Even if he didn't find any leftovers, perhaps he'd find hunting easier down in the sheltered valley, where prey would be easier to find.

Ignoring his head, which was telling him that this was a bad idea, Kell focused completely on his instincts. He trotted down the sloping valley wall, heading for the lower ground. It was well into the morning when he came across a scent marker for the pack, though he wasn't even at the base of the valley yet. They really have quite the territory. With their smell in his nostrils, things suddenly became a lot more real. If he was found on their land, scavenging for food, who knew what these wolves would do? He didn't know them; what if they were merciless, and killed him for his trespassing? He didn't have the strength to fight back. But he knew the valley was likely his best chance at finding prey. With denser trees, it was more sheltered, and there was more running water around. If there were animals to be found, they'd be here. Steeling himself, he entered their territory. And now, we hunt.
