The life of a wolf has never been easy. They've faced natural disasters like
flooding and forest fires, humans building over their homes. The general
species has fought tooth and nail to survive this long. There is no way
that they will die out like nature tries to deny them of their right to live.
Especially the wolves of Tongass National Forest, located in Alaska.
These wolves have fought tooth and claw to make it where they are
today. But now. Nothing could have prepared them for what has to come.

There's been an outbreak of a disease among the wolves of the area.
Pack member or not. It's a viral disease that's both airborne and as
well as coming into contact with a sick wolf's bodily fluids. The
original alpha of the pack, White Fang, was the first of the pack
to succumb to this new disease after fighting with a intruding loner.
At first It was undetectable, but then things started changing. The
way he acted, the way he smelled. It concerned the pack until he
attacked his younger sister, something that he wouldn't do in a
million years. Because of that, it was equally decided for Fang to
exile himself away for the rest of their safety. They thought they
were safe. But the disease is still coming. Still spreading. What
will the wolves of Tongass do?

Tess's Rules; obviously this is a given. I expect each rule should be followed accordingly. I would prefer this roleplay to not be locked due to miscommunication and rather it keep going for as long as possible. Of course that includes godmodding and Mary/Gary sues. We all know by now that nobody's perfect.
Characters; The character limit is 2, one male one female. Now even though this is set after the original alpha hurt his sibling and left, chaos shouldn't break out. The disease is on the rise and certain characters will fall ill (once discussed with me when). Keep diversity between each character that you make. Only one high rank per user due to the limited amount.
Literacy; It is expected to be semi-literate to literate. Meaning at minimum there should be one paragraph with six sentences, though there is no maximum. Write to your hearts content. Please disable signatures on this thread as well to keep everything neat.
Drama; This roleplay is about the struggles of survival when this mind killing sickness breaks out. Romance and fights among the animals are encouraged and expected, but it shouldn't pull away from the main plot. Anything big like storms should be discussed with me and fellow writers.

1; Alpha's word is law. No if's and's or but's. If alpha is away, then orders should be followed from the Beta.
2; Do not engage with any possible sick wolves. If contact is engaged with a loner, look for the symptoms before taking further actions.
3; All sick wolves must be chased off, but do your best to not physically come into contact. Do not engage in combat with said sick wolf. you will lose
4; If pack member should become sick, tell the alpha and beta immediately.

Newly Appointed Alpha; Served underneath old alpha as the beta. Used to be really close to White Fang, which made it even harder to send him away. Untrusting of new wolves and harder to convince to bring in non sick ones. But they do know that the older male is still alive but doesn't say anything.

Symptoms

After a wolf comes into contact with the disease, the symptoms won't show up right away.
Instead it'll sit inside the body for about a day at least to three days at most before showing signs.
It'll start out with fatigue, fever, headache, and coughing. After a few days past the first initial
symptoms, uncontrollable irritability will rise to the occasion as well as unexplainable weight loss
as well as chest pain. The final stage of the infection takes a much more of a physical toll to the
mind and body. Their mind will be only clouded with aggression and thoughts of others as the
cause of their pain. Unimaginable strength with arise, much stronger than the usual wolf. Without
any help of any source, the host will die from personal infliction, death by another animal, or
the original symptoms such as fever will finally kill the brain.
