- the inquisitor looked out upon the camp, her often bright amber eyes dulled by a night of unsettled slumber. kept awake by simply the restless thoughts that wandered her mind. their wasn't an off switch for such things, it would be always that her mind was racing with thoughts, always looking for solutions of the problems she or the group would face. It had become increasingly hard to silence herself as the days rolled in for the great feast to come, something that she wanted to go smoothly as always. She was leader, and it was up to her to make the decisions that would keep the group in order. She pulled away from those thoughts, giving her head a quick shake as to awaken herself further. Looking round, she could see a few figures shuffling around from their sleeping places, beginning to stir from slumber. A few muffled voice spoke to a companion beside them, though for the most part, the camp was filled with a calm quietness. She lifted herself to her rosetted haunches slowly, her maw opening in a well-needed yawn, pink tongue curling as it escaped her mouth in an expression of tiredness.
