it was year z6.
it was the month of moonlight.
every feline species cheered. they had a "feast" around a large boulder. the elders sat under a
tree, sharing stories with the young ones. some of the young ones were either playing, listening
to the elders, or with their parents and friends.

the older felines usually watched over the younger ones or they just ate. except for one feline,
a serval, actually. he left to go live on his own about two months ago, and no-one really knows
why. he just wanted to simply ruin the party. not every feline knows that, though. except for
four. if they stop the serval, then the party won't be ruined. if they don't, then they'll have to
watch the party go down.

deciding to bring one of my roleplays back to life
the serval wishes to ruin the party because of how he was ignored and
he wants everyone to see how he feels.

the felines' home is in a large meadow, wi

it is hard to see, but once you settle in th
e camp and see where it is, you'll know.

ol' boulder
as you may know, ol' boulder is in the cent
er of a forest. elders call it "ol' boulder", be
cause the boulder is real old, and insects, an
d moss is on it. this is where the group of fe
lines hang out and celebrate at.

soul territory
do not visit here. this is a territory in a
swamp. elders may say don't go there, becaus
e that's where the deceased felines live here. a
lligators also live here.

ember moon
young ones are allowed to visit here, but with on
ly the guidance of the adults. it's safe here, and t
his is the best place for young ones to explore at, p
ractice hunting, or just horse-play here. this is loca
ted in a large cave thats in a marsh [yes, and i mea
n a marsh].

demeter felt a chill go rolling down her spine. words were slowly filling the atmosphere, and those words only came from one member. a former one, actually. a serval, kubu. he was leaving, which made demeter a bit sad and confused at the same time. he didn't tell why he was leaving, though. demeter watched as he walked out of camp, silence suddenly filling up the air. thoughts were suddenly filling up her mind, wondering why he would leave. maybe he couldn't take it anymore? was he annoyed by someone or something? the high duke let out a short sigh before turning away from the entrance, noticing that there was soon darkness was covering her.

demeter could feel the sunlight bleed through the trees, morning birds chirping away. she slightly sighed, realizing she fell asleep while guarding the camp. rarely, she would be up all night, patrolling the borders for intruders, especially the former group member, and guarding the entrance. ever since she became a high duke, she barely hadn't gotten a wink of peaceful sleep. demeter would also get comments from her members about her overworking, which obviously got them worried. the clouded leopard hoisted herself to her paws before walking into camp, noticing that they were still asleep --- well, some of them were awake and moving around, talking to others, mainly about the feast. the feast would normally last for three months, so there was one more month left until it was over. demeter walked over near a boulder where the group would normally feast at, taking a bird that was in a small pile near the boulder. she quickly guzzled it down before she left camp again, off to patrol the borders. as soon as she got there, the high duke walked along the edge of the border of her territory, her nose stuck in the air. there were only stale scents. maybe from a day ago, and one she didn't recognize. who would come over wandering into our territory? demeter wondered. her mind was suddenly filled with questions about the scent, but she quickly shoved them aside. she turned away from the border and stalked back to camp.

as demeter made her way back to camp, she walked over to a fellow high duke, one she trusted, raola. "good morning, raola," she dipped her head. "how are you?"

emrys's eyes fluttered open as he woke from a restless night of sleep. he lifted his head, and looked groggily around the camp. he spotted the high duke, demeter, leaving camp, and he grew worried as he realized she'd spent yet another night awake. she truly needed to sleep or she wouldn't be of much use to the group. emrys shook his head to clear the thoughts away, and looked around to search for any signs of illness or injury. he just hoped that no cats would come wailing to him because they had a thorn in their pad. he was tired of them over exaggerating even the tiniest thorn. he worked his claws into the ground before standing up and wandering around camp. he didn't care about any of the cats who tried to talk to him. he was deep in thought as he walked out of camp and headed towards the "ol' boulder" in the center of a forest. as he reached it, he climbed to the top and sat atop it and began grooming his ruffled sandy colored pelt. he relished the soft moss under his paws, but it was soon shredded into tiny pieces as he worked his claws agitatedly through it. thoughts raced through his head, but he sat in silence as he tried to clear his mind.

indentationThe tigress slithered through the forest, keeping her eyes locked on the young impala nibbling at the grass. It was an easy hunt and an easy catch for a tiger such as herself. She unsheathed her foreclaws as she neared the prey, a low growl in her throat as she neared her body to the ground, her golden body blending in with the long blades of grass. In one leap, she threw herself at the animal, sinking her foreclaws right into its back and her fangs into the back of its neck.She locked her jaw in place, standing on top of the animal and waited until she felt its pulse slowly fade away. She slowly slid out her pointed teeth, looking down at her kill before picking it up and carrying it back to camp. She felt strong in the camp, powerful if you must. Being the only tiger not only make her seem far more powerful than she was, but it gave her a respect and authority over others. She enjoyed it, though if the time was right she wouldn't be afraid to fight another. She lay the kill down in the prey pile, not hungry in the moment. Sighing, Raola stretched out her sore muscles, which had been tossed around in her sleep and lay in an awkward position. She heard a slight shift in the ground, knowing someone was approaching. "Good morning, Raola," It was merely Demeter, and the leopardess dipped her head in a respectful introduction. "How are you?" Raola nodded her head in greeting, though no smile formed on the fae's serious features. "I'm well, Demeter. I've grabbed a small impala for possibly the younger ones to eat and I plan to continue hunting later in the day." She paused to yawn, licking the back of her forepaw and rubbing at the side of her face. "How are you?"
